In his rush to accuse three Democrats, Jolly ignores the two worst presidents in our history. George Bush who got us into a war tat we are still paying for and then crashed the economy. Welcome curmudgeon. As I have stated before, it wasn’t Bush who crashed the economy, it was Dodd and Barney who refused Bush about seventeen times when he went to congress to reverse the act that lent money to people whom they knew could never repay it. That was started by Carter to help the blacks get mortgages and upgraded by Clinton who opened it up to everybody. The only one who made money were the bankers when Obama bailed them out. The whole economy went down because of Democrats. Get your history straight.

If you will investigate like I have you will find that Clinton "balanced the budget" Ha Ha by robbing the Social Security trust fund! That and the understanding that SSI is and always been a Ponzi scheme is the reason SSI is now failing. The national debt was DOUBLED by Obama and under 10 to over 20 Trillion before Trump started. It is really pretty much impossible to tell all the "gimi gimi" people who want far more than they have contributed to tell them NO MORE! They complain now and listed to the BS from AOC that the government can provide everything. The $ has to come from some where and when the Dems take all the 1%ers $ they will take it from the middle class. When that is gone they will take it from where????? Carter raised taxes to a point where the $ left the country. That is FACT! When Regan took office he reversed that and the economy somewhat recovered. That was how long ago? Many of our congress people and senators were in HS at that time and didn't have a clue as to what was happening.

Much of what you're saying has it's roots before any of us were born, in the Administrations of Taft, Wilson, and a few years later, FDR.
As far as our Congresscritters being in high school and not having a clue, things don't seem to have improved much, have they?

Bill Clinton balanced the budget and left us with a cash surplus but also it is true that he couldn't keep his pecker in his pants. Trump by contrast is exploding the national debt and paying naughty women for their silence--That's all good with you apparently. Tom, I just read a good article about what caused Rome to fall. Many things but Obama did fit into too many of them for me to change my feelings about him as our President. Of course, he isn't the only one but he sure is the latest one.

If you look you can find this article and see how close we are to becoming just like Rome.

Yes, they actually did, even though my main truck with the Bushes is their globalism.

When Bush, Sr. was Reagan's VP, President Reagan had to tell him to either terminate his connection with the Trilateral Commission or resign.

Bush, Jr. attempted to sneak a North American Union in under the honey coated name of SPP: the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America.

But neither rates the contempt of Clinton, Obama and Co.

In fact, Jimmy Carter should be a happy man at this juncture, because thanks to Obama, the purveyor of peanuts no longer holds the title of worst president in history.

Got us into a war we are still paying for? Such fine words but you forgot that Obama said that the Afghan war was his and we are still fighting and paying for that one. How many years have gone by since he said those words? Too damned many especially since he didn't really make any effort to get out of it. Speaking of all this it is time for my pills, all aimed at saving my heart.

For someone old enough to be a curmudgeon, you have a very limited historical view. Much of what happens today has it's roots in the early 20th century. Too bad your opinion only goes back to the sixties.

I suppose if I were an America hating leftist, I'd understand where you're coming from, but since I DO love my country and the Constitution that's the law of the land, the Bolshevik wavelength you are attempting to communicate on just isn't registering.
