In my defense I am not wearing my glasses. I know, that's no excuse. Thank you for correcting me. Sometimes it's good to be wrong.

Your defense (from my viewpoint) is that you're generally very fair and reasonable...usually giving very well thought out and measured responses to matters. I was not aware of your wearing glasses, but that could explain how you missed the two excerpts. I wear glasses also when I am reading, or otherwise may have overlooked them myself.

You are too kind. I do have them on now.

And back at you. I find your posts quite reasonable and fair and often quite informative.

That's what he said...
Claimed he failed the IQ test and was forced into the navy...
Apparently there is something called the 'Gump' line... And if you score above it you are ineligible for the marines

For most of my life, we celebrated Lincoln’s Birthday on Feb. 12 and Washington’s birthday on Feb. 22. After all, they were the 2 greatest presidents in American history, with Washington being the first president and Lincoln being the president who freed the slaves.

Just as many believed racial tensions and divisions were improving, black Americans began insisting on a holiday for them, so Martin Luther King Jr., was chosen. To appease black Americans, Lincoln’s and Washington’s birthdays were combined with all other presidents in order to allow for a federal holiday for black Americans.

So, today is the day chosen as the legal federal holiday known as President’s Day in which we honor the birth of all American presidents.

This morning, I raised my American flag and thought about honoring the birthdays of America’s presidents, but realized there are three that I refuse to honor.

First is Lyndon B. Johnson. I truly believe that he was war criminal and should have been tried as such in the courts of America. In the 1964 presidential campaign, Sen. Barry Goldwater (R-AZ) ran for the White House, promising to end the Vietnam War by whatever means possible. He was labeled a hawk and warmonger. Johnson ran on a platform of peace, saying he would end the war by bringing our troops home. Johnson won a landslide victory over Goldwater on the promise of peace. Instead, Johnson escalated the US involvement in Vietnam and sent 50,000 more American military personnel to their death. He lied to the American people and the American military just to win the election. Additionally, Johnson was a strong racist and bigot.

Second is Bill Clinton. I cannot honor any man who carries on adulterous affairs while serving as president. It was proven during his impeachment that he had affairs before the White House and then had oral sex in the Oval Office while he was president. Then he lied about it and tried to obstruct justice to protect himself. After the House voted to impeach Clinton, the Senate should have found him guilty on all charges, but they were afraid to do so and be the first in American history to oust a president.

Third is Barack Obama. First of all, President’s Day is supposed to honor the birth of our presidents, but there is still a lot of questions concerning the birth of Obama. It was proven by a law enforcement agency that the official birth certificate presented by the White House was a forgery, as was Obama’s Selective Service Card. During that investigation, it was found that the supposed record of Obama’s birth in Hawaii was missing.

Additionally, Obama was the greatest criminal ever to hold the nation’s highest office. He regularly violated the US Constitution and federal laws. He intentionally changed federal laws to his own choosing, a right or power no president has. He violated Congress, lied to Congress, obstructed justice, supported and fueled the racial tension and fires that are still burning in our country. Barack Obama was so evil that he makes the worst organized crime boss seems like the proverbial choir boy.

So, on this President’s Day, I proudly and patriotically raised my American flag to honor all but three presidents, of whom all belonged in prison.

You forgot both Taft and Woodrow Wilson. Both the 16th and 17th Amendments were proposed under Taft and ratified under Wilson. Wilson also oversaw the creation of the Federal Reserve.
The Federal Reserve Act had the blessing of Wilson's Chief of Staff, one "Colonel" Edward House. (Note that this self-proclaimed Communist bastard was never a Colonel of anything, and never held military rank.) The same bankers who formed the Federal Reserve also bailed out the Bolshevik Revolution when they were bankrupt. House was instrumental in forming the Council On Foreign Relations in 1921, and the original membership was a Who's Who of the Federal Reserve and what would become the IMF.
America's very own Rasputin.
These two presidents allowed our country to be sold down the river. (I'll bet you didn't know that in 1894 the SCOTUS ruled income tax unconstitutional, and House, et, al, already working behind the scenes with the other founders of the soon to be formed Federal Reserve managed to get the 16th Amendment passed.) It was sold as merely a tax on "wealthy Northeastern industrialists."
