This is remarkable.... I wonder if the cases of Enterohemorrhagic E. coli contamination will vanish with the "human" harvesters.

Pennylynn . . . That was a very perceptive question. For that very reason, when I shop at the grocery store, if I see that either a fruit, or vegetable has been imported from Mexico----I pass it by. I just do not believe that Mexico has the same standards for health, and cleanliness that we have in the US. Utilizing the same stringent standards, I think that American fruits and vegetables that have been harvested by Mexican or other South of the boarder workers, may be as hazardous to our health for the same reasons. (I was shopping at my local grocery store when two Hispanic women were looking a precooked roasted chickens, I nearly fainted when they removed the plastic lid from the container which covered the cooked chicken, and they began poking the chicken breast with their fingers, and putting it up to their noses to smell the cooked chicken. This kind of behavior in the USA is absolutely not acceptable. People who are so lacking in hygiene and appropriate etiquette should definitely stay on the Southern side of our boarder with Mexico, as they pose a serious health hazard to the American people.) I think it would be a better plan on having "robots to replace wetbacks."
Keep the government hands off it and the private sector will find a solution. Yeah, capitalism!
