I have all three books written by Thor Hyerdahl, and a book about how the Polynesians navigated, complete with pictures and maps. The author lived with them and they helped him navigate his schooner using their methods. It seems they probably came from South America, Or Egypt, Hyerdahl proved they could have come from both places, Using "Ra" and "Kon Tiki" he did those trips. And the langauges and archeological evidence points there. Supposedly there is evidence of Chinese visits to Mexico and California, and Norse settlements in Our Northeast. Columbus was the last, but started a continuous migration.

Automatic weapons require special permits to purchase. semi- automatic weapons have been in existence for a long time. Just what do you define as an "assault weapon"? Most if not all of the differences that make them "assault" are cosmetic, nothing else.The ultimate desire of course, from the "progressive" standpoint, is to remove guns from all the citizens, so only the government has them.
