So the president gets to shut down the government anytime he disagrees with a bill sent over from the Senate and the house. 2019 is going to be an interesting year if we allow that to happen.

This has to be one of the most stupid statements I have ever heard!

`According to the constitution the House is responsible for preparing spending bills which they did in December. It included money for border security but not for a wall. It was approved by both the House and the Senate by a voice vote. But chief wimp Mitch McConnell did not send it to Trump when he heard that Trump did not like it. He continues to stall on more bills that have been prepared and voted on in the House designed to open Federal agencies. I guess slavery is coming back. Why else would he refuse to displease Lord and Master Trump.

That's why it's called poli-tics (many- bloodsuckers).

They were for it until Trump wouldn't sign the DACA that went with it.

Oh, they wanted full and complete amnesty for not only the DACA children but ALL of their families who would follow as part of the chain migration process, which this bill also included. Additionally, they wanted to de-fund ICE and allow an easier path to simply claiming asylum and walking in, right into the amnesty the DACA kids would get. That bill is never fully appreciated for it's other parts.

I’m a Republican and know a number of Republicans who are not fed up with the shutdown caused by the Democrats’ refusal to negotiate in goodwill.

I am one of them. I am also fed up with the "go along to get along" RINOs who refused to work with the president when we also controlled the House. I am fed up with Liberal Democrats and their Repuke allies who value wetbacks more than US citizens. I am fed up with career bureaucrats who think a Cartel dope mule has more rights than a disabled veteran. I am fed up with the political prostitutes who run Washington DC like a high-priced whorehouse.

I spent a month in McAllen one night, back when I drove a truck.

I can't imagine the things you've seen. You must wonder who Progressives are working for in DC, Americans or illegal aliens. So do I.
