Even if it puts our country in danger? We have the worlds most deadly military plus a national guard plus federal, state, and local police departments coupled with more guns per capita than any other nation. Exactly what danger is our country in that we can't handle?

There are some very nasty ways to take out tunnelers. Takes quite a drone to fly a fat, 300 pound illegal over the wall. I think they call them helicopters but a few well placed rounds means they are in for a big letdown (sorry, couldn't resist).

How about several million illegal aliens, to include drug runners, human traffickers, smugglers and various others of nasty occupations. We have a system for allowing people to legally immigrate that has worked for years. Why sacrifice that for some impatient peons that want in now to help themselves to the benefits our citizens have worked for, for years? Build The Wall and quit quibbling!!

Well said, most people do not have a clue. My family has our main farm right on the border of south Texas. We have some steel walls on part of our land! It makes one HECK of a difference.the grade schools for the most part speak Spanish . Our auto Ins.here is about forty five % higher because big numbers of people do not carry any or have a license. 85% of these people do not and will not simulate. Lots are good people , but that's beside the point. There thinking , and the way they live is so different. We need walls and we need them now.But the chambers of Commerce , all over the USA, work for the system! And the system wants open borders!!! Something is coming, I can fell it ! Almost smell it. There are greater dangers to a nation's future than a shooting invasion of another nation. The current invasion of needy, greedy foreigners, legal and illegal, pose a great danger to the USA without a shot ever being fired. This eventual take over and changing of America has been happening for decades, since Congress changed the immigration rules/policies and declared preference must be given to third world cesspit nations instead of Europeans because the people of those nations were under represented in the USA. How about THAT as a reason for letting certain peoples move into your country and be a financial burden forever while forcing tremendous changes on every aspect of your country? So, today, we have many tens of millions of such foreigners here grabbing every right/benefit/privilege of American citizens without ever being American or citizens. And we continue getting 2-3 million new ones EVERY YEAR, along with about half a million of their anchor babies born here annually (half a million illegal new citizens ready to vote, run for office, etc, at age 18). Mexico already interferes often in our business through their powerful political groups operating freely in the USA. Mexico's high up leaders often speak here to large groups of "their" citizens, always reminding them to remain Mexicans forever and always put the mother country first. Last estimate I read said we have 50+ million Mexicans, including about 20 million illegals, in our country, composing the Largest minority group in the USA. Our population experts predict that, on our current path, in 2-3 more decades, Mexicans/Hispanics will be the majority, controlling people in the USA. Keeping all that in mind, it is not at all difficult to believe Mexico has been/is working toward some long-term plan for our country when they finally have control of our government/etc through their citizens in this country. Remember, Mexico constantly reminds its people that they are always Mexican first, last, always, just living in another nation AND those people have the same viewpoint, as the Mexican wife of a Mexican American columnist said, " I am NOT American. I will never be American. I am, and will always be, Mexican." At best, on this path, the future of the USA appears to be one of balkinization, no "united" states, but just a bunch of tribes, each with its own language, customs, culture, beliefs, etc, all fighting for supremacy, with poverty and violence for ALL except the ultra-rich elite.
