Oh please.....Nancy is propped up by the DNC because she knows how to raise big money for them. Who do you suppose Nancy (and Jerry Brown, and Feinstein) learned how to raise money and control politicians from way back in the mid to late 70's when conservatives had control of the state? Who else was "working" their way up the California Democratic Party then with a cult of "marginalized" minorities, and even the First Lady, helping him to build his political power?
She learned from the master and ince again the msm refused to report the truth to the people.
She is "loved" by her constituents in the same way that Jim Jones was "loved" by his cult followers (and how well did THAT turn out for them?) and is supported by her Party the same way the CA Democrats supported Jim Jones, with greed for his voter following (3,000 voters on busses showing up within 6 hours to protest or vote in all the districts) and fear of the dirty secrets he got on them during fundraising events.
Do a little research on CA politics and you'll see the truth of San Francisco and Sacramento Democrat politicians and how they have used the same tactics to turn the whole Democrat Party into a Marxist cult, and then tell me how "loved" Pelosi is.

The Democrats are pushing for open borders to advance the North American Union. They have even designed a coin with a Native American woman holding a bushel of corn as if the Mexican-Indian muelatos will rule over the western hemisphere in the New World Order socialist utopia.

PS: This open border business would include the Native Americans giving up their reservations, known to be rotten farmland, but rich in other commodities: oil, gas, coal, thermal heat, gold, silver, copper, uranium, rare-earth minerals, etc. This is the biggest honey-coated land-grab swindle of the 21st Century. The Secure Fence Act of 2006

The Secure Fence Act of 2006, which was passed by a Republican Congress and signed by President George W. Bush, authorized about 700 miles of fencing along certain stretches of land between the border of the United States and Mexico.

The act also authorized the use of more vehicle barriers, checkpoints and lighting to curb illegal immigration, and the use of advanced technology such as satellites and unmanned aerial vehicles.

At the time the act was being considered, Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and Chuck Schumer were all members of the Senate. (Schumer of New York is now the Senate minority leader.)

Obama, Clinton, Schumer and 23 other Democratic senators voted in favor of the act when it passed in the Senate by a vote of 80 to 19.

woodguru...what's the difference between then and now? Trump. That's the only difference and it puts responsibility squarely on the shoulder's of Pelosi and Shumer. Trump has a deal on the table and she flat said, "NO" ................THAT'S a temper tantrum. Their trying to show Trump who's the boss, but guess what.....it ain't them! This is an area I have much interest in but don't know much about, so this isn't a challenge, it's a request for more dialog on the subject if you care to respond.

As far as Ted Cruz, well...that article was written during the height of the presidential campaign and in hindsight after what we now know of the bias of the MSM against all things conservative (and from what I know of Ted Cruzs' family background...I take the article with a huge grain of salt).
