Do any of you really old people, like me, remember when presidents could make speeches and we could all discuss them without the other side answering, and usually with things that had nothing to do with what the man had said? I didn't hear much in the way of answering Trump in the prepared words from Peeloosli and Schumer. That was because they had written their "rebuttal" beforehand.
When will those two demand time for rebuttal of Trump's speech in Texas today? I don't think they will demand it but who knows? I will sure be listening intently to their demanded time to that answer.

I remember when Ronald Reagan would take his message to the American People often and usually got what he wanted.
Dems would be at least smart enough to keep their mouths shut because they knew they'd make fools of themselves.

They did make real idiot sounding noises and were so ready to make their words known no matter what
Trump said. I have seen this happen in reverse too many times by Republicans, though. I don't think they have to refute anyone's words with words they wrote before hand.
