However, reporters did report many sick in the caravan on the Mexico side of the border. And no, I can't give the link. Give me a break. Look it up yourself if you want more information. I read it on the net as a news article and wasn't planning on quoting source.

JoyV: it hardly matters when the media either won't acknowledge it or if THEY Do they'll still report every Democrat attacking and blaming Trump.
I have a gut feeling that eventually there will be bombings and fires at media outlets and even attacks on the far left wing. Why? Frustration and disgust that the media and left are consistently negative.
When average Americans wake up to assaults on our constitution and total disrespect for our president and GOP legislators, the dam will burst.
I hope I'm wrong and both sides won't go that far.

While you are right about the media, our constitution safeguards freedom of the press, even today's political, liberal one-sided press. And the press is not to blame for any of today's immigration related insanity. That blame must be placed at the feet of Congress, each one for a number of years and the current one. These people are SUPPOSED to represent American citizens and always act in the best interests of our country, but they, long ago, stopped that and began to represent only themselves, the rich corporations that help them increase their power and pocketbooks and foreigners. This very Congress that constantly refuses to secure our border and end the invasion of foreigners (legal & illegal) just decided to give over $10 BILLION to Mexico and the 3 CA nations. Corrupt Mexico manipulated our nation once again to benefit themselves, $5 billion to let the caravan people stay there until their asylum claims are heard by US authorities AND Mexico got $5 billion also for the .CA nations, supposedly, to improve their economies so their citizens will stop coming to the USA, as if that is likely to happen. Over $10 BILLION spent this way, but Congress refuses to spent $5 billion to continue building an obstruction on our border to prevent those people entering our country. So, OUR OWN Congress is perfectly willing to help these third world cesspit nations BUT NOT WILLING TO PROTECT OUR OWN COUNTRY AND CITIZENS AND ALL OVER POLITICS!! Unscruplous and traitorous behavior against nation and citizens.

Mary Jane: you are right, but I still say the media is the biggest offender.
Freedom of the press has become a joke. They exercise to lie, spew hate, and equal coverage.
If the press advocated screaming fire falsely in crowded theatres; if they published confidential information that gave military secrets to our enemies....then I think the media needs to be penalized and severely punished.
As of now the media has no standard of ethics the violation of which can be enforced.
I do not at this time value freedom of the press!

Bahmer: the media isn't capable of cleaning house that thoroughly unless they start firing a lot of reporters, moderators, and editorial and column writers.
Imagine Chuck Todd and Stephanopolous being fired and media establishing policies that no moderators who worked for Democrat (or GOP) politicians.
If they are permitted to be on a panel it would be with an equal and opposite viewpoint with an equal background.
Won't happen.
Also reestablish equal time requirements. Oprah had Obama on in 2008 and refused to have John McCain. The network should have demanded she give equal time or cancel her show.
How did it come to pass that after 50 years of believing in a "free press" I now would delight in the repeal of that part of the Constitution?
As Public Radio... They are subtle but in bed with the liberal media.
As to conservative talk show hosts, they must be held to higher standards. A few.of them give the impression of being democrat shills.

True they would almost have to start over and I don't see that happening at all. It would be nice to see and it might get some of them to straighten out but for how long? Then they would go back to preaching their ideals as opposed to reporting the news. They would have so much clout if they would just report the news and nothing but the news and leave their view points on the table at home. There is so much corruption that they could report on that they would be busy for the next 100 years just reporting the news. Talk about job security they would have it and other stations would want the best reporters. Now everybody is mediocre and nobody is reporting the news.

Proud Republican: there are haters on both sides but far more and deeper haters on the left. That portion of the right and moderate elements who are Christians are more constrained, although that doesn't explain the black and Hispanic elements.

All of us that truly love our country care about our fellow citizens. That is why we so much resent and despise our Congress for helping foreign nations and their citizens invading and exploiting our country. But we have no power today, our Congress does not hear us and just considers us ignorant pests to be ignored. We resent our own Congress helping these illegal and legal invaders to enter our nation and forcing us to financially support them forever while they send hundreds of billions of our dollars OUT of our country. We are forced to watch these scammers with their entitled and demanding attitudes negatively impact every aspect of our country and lives of our citizens while our own Congress/government agencies/media/liberal courts/progressive anti-America citizens give these foreigners all the rights and benefits meant only for USA citizens, often treating them better than citizens, giving them preferential treatment. We plead with our politicians, have for years, to secure our border, to stop the invasion of illegals and fake asylees/refugees, to stop legally importing over a million new foreigners annually, most of whom are users and exploiters just like the illegals and asylees. But Congress turns away from us and continues to give our country over to foreigners who care only about getting all the material goodies they can.
