An Unarmed People in the Socialist Dictatorship of Venezuela
Venezuela has become increasingly totalitarian under Nicolas Maduro and the country under his rule faces mass hunger, starvation and a lack of medical supplies. The cherry on top of the disastrous socialist dictatorship is the inability for the people to defend themselves and take back their country, thanks to a 2013 gun-control law disarming all citizens.
“Guns would have served as a vital pillar to remaining a free people, or at least able to put up a fight,” Javier Vanegas, 28, a Venezuelan teacher of English now exiled in Ecuador, told Fox News. “The government security forces, at the beginning of this debacle, knew they had no real opposition to their force. Once things were this bad, it was a clear declaration of war against an unarmed population.”
Under the direction of then-President Hugo Chavez, the Venezuelan National Assembly in 2012 enacted the “Control of Arms, Munitions and Disarmament Law,” with the explicit aim to “disarm all citizens.” The law took effect in 2013, with only minimal pushback from some pro-democracy opposition figures, banned the legal commercial sale of guns and munitions to all – except government entities.
Chavez initially ran a months-long amnesty program encouraging Venezuelans to trade their arms for electrical goods. That year, there were only 37 recorded voluntary gun surrenders, while the majority of seizures – more than 12,500 – were by force.
In 2014, with Nicolás Maduro at the helm following Chavez’s death but carrying through his socialist “Chavista” policies, the government invested more than $47 million enforcing the gun ban – which has since included grandiose displays of public weapons demolitions in the town square.

The punishment for illicit carrying or selling a weapon now is 20 years behind bars.
The people of Venezuela never thought that they would need to defend themselves against their own government, and now they are struggling to stand up against an armed dictatorship. Let this be a reminder of why we must preserve the Second Amendment — “A well-regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed” — in our country. Will America ever end up like Venezuela? Unlikely, but let’s never assume that it wouldn’t. That’s what our Founding Fathers intended when the thirteen colonies took up arms and demanded independence from Great Britain. Remember, we wouldn’t be the free nation we are today without these pro-gun, patriots.

But our schools are brainwashing our kids into believing guns are a threat to everyone and need to be removed from our society. Since the class of civics has been removed from our Government
run schools our kids now grow up not know right from wrong, or one should be polite to others, respect of others. We have lowered our level and station of civilization in the world.
Our country is in grave danger and few see it.

Venezuela is the poster child for Socialist Failure. If Liberals, Democrats, Progressives, and the rest of the usual suspects ever get total power in the US of A, it will happen here, along with the suppression of rights. Liberal-Socialists cannot help themselves. When their policies fail, as in Venezuela they crack down on the freedoms of all who oppose them.

So how do American Liberal-Socialists deal with the story of Venezuela's catastrophe. Well mostly they ignore it. It is so far away that it can be ignored. Back when Bush was President and things were not yet totally falling apart in Venezuela, Liberals could not wait to brag about the wonderful health care for all and other government freebies that the country's oil wealth made possible. Rich Liberals like Hollywood actors like to visit Venezuela and hobnob with it's Socialist dictator Hugo Chavez. My how the mighty have fallen. Hugo got cancer and died. His henchman Moduro took over and is even more incompetent, except in oppression.

Now with knowledgeable Conservatives constantly bringing up Venezuela, some Liberals on their websites simply feel that they can no longer ignore Venezuela and so seek to explain Venezuela to their few remaining followers. So how would you do this, if it were you ? I mean Liberals can no longer deny that Venezuela is a total economic and political basket case. Well if you'd be a not too bright, but totally dedicated Liberal-Progressive-Socialist nut you would fall back on what you know.

So what do you know ? You know how to charge racism. Hey don't knock it. It got Obama elected and kept him in office for 8 years. What the Liberal bloggers do is say that Venezuela's troubles were not caused by Socialism. No, they were caused by the racism of the lighter skinned racists who used to run Venezuela, who sabotaged Chavez and his followers because they were darker skinned browns. Racism, not Socialism caused Venezuela's desperate condition.

How do you argue with clowns like this ? You don't. First off they do not allow anyone who disagrees with them to post. Second, if you could post counter evidence, they have no interest in even trying to dispute it. Fortunately these people have almost no followers anymore. The world has moved on.

The only reason to notice what Liberals post on their blogs is because their idiotic arguments end up as talking points by other Liberals. Many times I have been shocked by some moronic point I first read on a blog, and that I thought had died there, only to find it resurfacing on OPP and other places.

I can see Trump declaring a state of emergency and martial law if it looks like he is going to be impeached. The trigger will be the right wing nut jobs who try to protect their president.

Fk Venezuela I seriously no longer care except that the CIA is responsible for creating the havoc ongoing, Trump Knows this... down the rabbit hole we go....

But on another note I’ve been screaming this for years with many other patriots.

What you need to help push is for people to activate into Militias and from community units who communicate, meet and train with others in their cities, counties, states.. etc...

this is what’s coming by way of voluntary need or by force.

Owning weapons does little to stop a marching army unless they’re trained and disciplined.

The rest I cant state here or they’ll come for me but I think you know whattimean.
