We like to think ,that somehow, uncovering the truth about our politicians will change something .
Yeah , sure . These guys run around in insulated bubbles , subject only to the whims of their associates .
. Even now ,as the massive governmental system rolls forward like some mutant alien tank ,we are subject to it's rules.
My local school has succumbed to the thought control ,filtering down from the top.
I watch ,as our freedoms are chipped away ,piece by piece , wondering what kind of world we create.
. Maybe ,by no longer paying attention to it , and yelling into the wind I may feel better .
Even if Trump pulls off a second term ,with the rats ever present swarming about every second ,.the slide back into the mess will rapidly be upon us.
.The changes that are needed will never come from Congress, or any other part of government
The government is the problem. It exists to serve itself . Like other nations are doing ,taking away our choices ,and our freedoms our victimization is endless. We are their little workers ,and must stay in line .
I hope freedom is more than a memory when my grandchildren are grrown ,but as I watch the amount of physical ,and psychological control being manifested across every platform ,I wonder if we even have a chance

You are SO right!!! I remember saying 20 years ago that any entity like government, the school system, etc etc will hit a point when it's only goal is to perpetuate itself! At that point it loses the ability to functionally perform what it was created for. The government is SO THERE!!!
Now that the midterms are over the RINO Republicans will go back to voting with the swamp lizards for a year and half so Trump didn't have chance with his wall and probably very little else. I'm afraid our headlong race to self destruct will accelerate.

Excellent post, spot on.
The country today is pretty much the antithesis of what it was when I was growing up and in my twenties and even thirties. Now I'm in my sixties and I feel like I'm in a different country altogether.
But I'm not ready to write it off yet, we still have six years of Trump ahead of us and I believe he's where he is for a reason.
He's created some spine in the GOP where there was a paucity of it before, and he's s can-do guy, AND he's still getting his sea legs, so to speak.
If he can't effect the needed repairs, though, I'm afraid that will be all she wrote.
In the meantime, I'm grateful that I've had the opportunity to experience America as it was in my half of the Twentieth Century.

Losing your freedom? What about the Black kids sitting in Central Park, NYC, that cops picked up and tortured until they confessed raping and killing the "Central Park Jogger"? A much younger Trump bought a full-page ad in the NY Times calling them all kinds of names and demanding their execution and then, when they were proved to be innocent and released after life in hell, never apologized.
There's a guy who should lose his freedom!

What about Mueller putting people in prison by framing them for murder? And now Mueller is basically the DOJ.
Unloved and bitter bullbiden bob..no one..is surprised that you love and adore Prog lawlessness. In your heart you harbor murder and deceit, as your father Satan do
