Yes, and President Trump's "poison," along with a gradually unravelling collection of solid evidence has shown that, also for the first time in history, a president (Obama) and a sociopath (Hillary Clinton) together managed to corrupt our intelligence services, relevant divisions of the Treasury Department as well as the Justice and State Departments.

How you can go on and on ignoring those blatant, plain-as- the-nose-on-your-face realities and keep accusing the Trump Administration of every last possible evil deed in the universe is simply mind boggling.

It was performed by a consultancy firm called Fusion GPS. While it was hired by the DNC, that was after the investigation was begun by a right-wing magazine in late 2015.
The question is, what prompted Fusion GPS to hire Steele, a Russia specialist? Why not, say, a China expert?
I did say it hasn't been controverted, not that it was true. Steele stands by his findings.
Firms such as Fusion GPS thrive or fail according to the quality of their work, which is to say accuracy in detail. They do not thrive by dancing with them what brung 'em. The fact that they were initially hired by righties is compelling evidence of that.
Further, US intelligence were unanimous in their belief that; a) Trump was in the thrall of Russians, and b) the Russians were working assiduously to tilt the election to the Orange Menace.
This the unanimous conclusion of the US intelligence establishment. There is no better demonstration of Trump's mendacity than his claim that the left had any influence on that decision. US intelligence has been the handmaiden of the right since J Edgar Hoover and Henry Anslinger.
