Sometimes I think President Trump is the only sane person in Washington.
Clearly the killing of Khashoggi was an evil act. But his murder is hardly distinguishable from countless other evil acts occurring regularly around the globe, other than by the fact that many members of the MSNBCNN media happened to know Khashoggi personally.
When Turkey committed one of their many evil acts by imprisoning American Andrew Brunson, MSNBCNN shrugged - even wondering why we should care about Brunson when there were thousands of others also imprisoned.
But then Andrew Brunson was merely a pastor, not someone who wrote a column for the Washington Post as Khashoggi did. To MSNBCNN, Brunson was one of them, while Khashoggi was one of us.
Besides, who was lining up to pay even higher prices at the gas pump because of this?
