Trump returned to Washington on Sunday evening after a weekend in France, where he attended events commemorating the 100th anniversary of the armistice that ended World War I. The president paid tribute earlier in the day to U.S. and allied soldiers killed in the so-called "war to end all wars."

"We are gathered together at this hallowed resting place to pay tribute to the brave Americans who gave their last breath in that mighty struggle," Trump said at the Suresnes American Cemetery and Memorial in the suburbs of Paris, where more than 1,500 Americans who died in the war are buried.

"It is our duty to preserve the civilization they defended and to protect the peace they so nobly gave their lives to secure one century ago," he said after spending a moment, standing alone amid the cemetery's white crosses, holding a black umbrella.

Pence departed Washington late Sunday to travel to Japan, where he will discuss North Korea, China, trade and other issues with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. During a stopover in Alaska, Pence gave remarks to soldiers and airmen at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson.

“You are the vanguard, on the edge of the Pacific, standing watch every day, guarding over the American people,” Pence said...

I mean either party as I said in another post here and frequently talk about both sides not just the dems..Although of late they are on a roll of deminished credibility, honesty and division of this great Nation..

I’m still waiting for one to at least to admit the brutal attack against Kavaungh by three different women that have now retracted their allegations... I hope all three of them are charged!!! I also hoped for the dems to apolgize or even one of you in here...But no, status quo and lets just keep that hate rivetting!! Truly disgusting and more than just pathetic..

In the recount, the rules were suddenly changed and only counties which handled early ballots in the same way as Maricopa County were accepted. Since 75% of the state's voters vote by early ballot, especially in the rural counties (mostly Republican) which are 12 of the 15 counties; the only reason she won was the exclusion of a large portion of Republican voters!!!! Add to the fact that they discovered ballots in Maricopa County (strongly Democrat) well after the deadline but were allowed to count them, that there were a high number of unmatching signatures, and thousands of ballots discovered to have been cast by illegals; the election was a FARCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sinema couldn't have won fairly if she had been up against a child molester or even a used car dealer. Only in Maricopa County, where most of the others who hate our state and country live, did she have a chance!

I have not missed an election since I first voted in 1976. Now to have my ballot excluded because the rules changed AFTER the polls closed, is atrocious and infuriating!!!!

Anyone here have good suggestions on what we legal voters whose ballots have been cast aside can do? This should not be allowed to go forward unchallenged!
