said and so worrying. There are some really bad or insincere people runnng for public office. Some don’t appear to have the intelligence to handle the office they’re running for. But scarier than that would be the people who just vote for someone due to their color or ridiculous promises they’re making. And then there are those who vote one way because they’re paid to. This is why election time is frightening for me.
I’m certain I don’t make any sense to anyone but me, but there you have it.

Is wanting states to be better at purgeing voter roles reasonable? Every American citizen of age should be able to vote without hinderances or stumbing blocks that prevent them from doing so. The government is by and for the people and all of the people have a say in what is theirs. That is freedom.

"Putin’s illegitimate Pumpkinfuhrer"? I believe that Putin did better with Clinton. The Electoral College is intended to prevent heavily populated states from wagging the dog. I agree with you on the rest of your points. The division of powers has been debased. It is this list of powers that was destroyed by Britain.

In Oregon you get mailed a ballot. Before that I did go to a polling station and I gave my name. I showed them a voters registration card or my drivers license and I got to vote. I hear all the time that voter id in some states is costly or in an inconvient location. Perhaps the fight should be for more accessible polling places and provide Identificaion services for those without it.

Absolutely!! AGREE with every word, great post!!! And, IMO, it's a choice between a party who says outrageous things and makes them sound sensible (no borders, there are 40+genders, etc etc etc) and a president who says sensible things outrageously.
