Recently Congress passed an Opioid bill and in the following rally Trump claimed that it passed with little democratic support. The reality was that the vote was 98 to 1 in the Senate, with only Sen. Mike Lee (R) opposing it. The House passed it 393 to 8. So why is Trump saying this? Well, because he is a pathological liar.
A pathological liar will lie even when there is no personal gain. In fact, in this case, had Trump simply told the truth and congratulated the two houses for working together he would have gained much more credence with both sides than pointlessly denigrating the Democrats when the truth would have been a much better path to take. A pathological liar will lie even when it hurts him and here is a prime example of Trump doing just such a thing.

Yeah, the other 59% didn't give a shit enough to vote so they have no room to complain. So yes the people that care did speak and the electoral college worked like it was supposed to.

Absolutely! The Electoral College vote prevents the 'ants' on the East Coast and the 'ants' on the West Coast from their ant mentality and controlling the whole United States. The hard working Middle America voted and turned the majority of the map of the 🇺🇸 RED! That's the law, whether the liberals like it or not!

Actually the electoral college could use some tweaks, like either states being fairly represented to where people have equal representation per capita, or electoral votes being split according to the state's popular vote.
People's vote means nothing with the current states that award all to on party even in close near 50/50 votes. We need to negate the value of election fraud when just a few votes can mean all of the electoral votes.
