Will I get kicked off if I say "blackface" when discussing past Halloween costumes??
Not that Megyn Kelly is a fav of mine, but here is her comment that got her fired; "During the discussion, the topic of using blackface to dress as an African-American person for Halloween came up, and that’s when Kelly said: “You do get in trouble if you are a white person who puts on blackface for Halloween, or a black person who puts on whiteface for Halloween,” she said. “Back when I was a kid, that was okay as long as you were dressing up as, like, a character.”
I'm just at a loss as to how this is offensive and racist? I know, I'm insensitive, but still, is this really how one gets fired from today's leftist media?? And, any of you white people out there offended by her use of "whiteface?"

"Whiteface" makes me think of cattle. They are delicious. How could I be offended by that?

If I saw a black comedian wearing a white face I would think it was funny.

Oh yeah, it hits me right where it hurts most. Are clowns who wear whiteface racist? What race are clowns anyway? Part of the Bigfoot tribe I would suppose

I just had the same thought. So what is the big beef with simply referring to the term as something from the past? I think she should sue!

Eh, she'll walk away with her millions, and let them think they won.

It wasn't the blackface, it was to save face for a yuge mistake of low ratings and 69 million dollars.

How dare she refer to caucasians as "whiteface." Our faces are pink. We should be referred to as "pinkface!"
Her statement was absolutely true. Are we so politically correct that truth no longer counts?

It would appear so for the left.
