As The Huffington Post pointed out , Obama has pardoned almost as many turkeys as he has drug offenders. It was originally a pagan holiday, celebrated as the days were getting shorter and people were afraid of losing the sun, warmth, and crops. In Europe, this corresponds to the end of the harvest season.... Thus the harvest moon.., Pagans believed it to be a time to either scare away bad spirits or appease them... I prefer to look at it as a time of harvest and yet another new beginning..
As for bad spirits I don’t believe in them .. Not in the way most do anyway.. I do know they can not harm me...
