You need to be aware there is a group of RWEs on OPP who are presenting Putin's propaganda line about the U.S. as aggressor and hegemon. Check out the following OPP threads where putt, putt, Putin Russian propaganda line is presented as if it were standard conservative thinking:

Also check out Patty's posted subjects the past few days since she joined, inluding a reposting of the China subject.

The cited postings tend to discredit conservative thinking and OPP conservatives would do well to guard against this type infiltration of Putin trolls. Ironic that on a subject favorable to McCarthyism, I'm taking on the role of McCarthy accusing these posters as Putin stooges. ha.

I am a studier of Paul Craig Roberts books who jonnie seems to think is un-American for some reason. I have to assume that he is uninformed as Dr. Roberts was Assistant Secretary of the Treasury and an adviser to the DOD when asked to testify before congress and the Joint Chiefs of Staff. He was also associate editor of the Wall Street Journal who's career was sacrifice because he refused to quit publishing the truth by many different journalists. His publication in many journals, publications and Published books are to vast to name here. He has served this country since the 70's and blind flag waving is not in my nature.

I found that there is supposedly a group called Joint Threat Research Intelligence Group sponsored by our government that is trying to see and take names of people who are saying anything about the present government. They are supposed to even try and make people mad enough to say those things. I.E.: Trolling or Fishing.
I'm sure they have me at the top of their list, but hopefully if I tie them up some else can by! It probably is best to ignore them and then maybe they will stop getting paid.
I posted a warning several months ago , but it didn't seem to slow anybody down. If they don't use factual references and use insults ( which they do a lot of) I wouldn't answer them. Maybe they will wither and die.

yeah yeah phoony. I lived through the ducking under desks and building bomb shelters as well, believe it of nuts. Seems all that was from the fear of commies OUTSIDE the U.S. not inside. Was there a communist Party in the Us? Yes there was and I am aware of that. Do I think it really would have really gotten anywhere McCarthy or not? No, my opinion is NOT. Regardless, my opinion is that Joseph McCarthy's tactics were un American, guilty until proven innocent, fear mongering drunken behavior and he should not be regarded as a hero in any way shape or form. You go ahead on and call him a hero. I choose not to.
