Hey Buffalo..As you say we can throw all the bastards out in november...But i will say that throwing all the bastards out will do little to stop the corruptive nature of the way our government has been operating since the Killing of JFK..This is a quote from JFK " There is a plot in this country to enslave every man, woman and child. Before I leave this high and noble office I intend to expose this plot "In my humble opinion JFK was right on the money..So while removing these politicians from office may make us feel good it will not stop the corruption in our federal government..So again in my humble opinion the answer is to put a stop to the corruption..Only we the people can do it. There certainly are some honest constitutional loving politicians..Trey Gowdy and those like him certainly would be a great start..But only we can make them follow the constitution...Operation American Spring.. As I have said numerous times already on OPP (and gotten the rath of SchoonerPete), as well as on another board that I got kicked off, coporations, with their unConstitutional personhood rights, have captured government and politicians and corrupted them for their benefit no matter which party is in power. The false dichotomy of the left and right that is paraded before the sheople by a lapdog media is meant merely to distract and divide. All corporate and union money and influence needs to be gotten out of politics. So, I agree with you.

A good government is one that is of, by and for the PEOPLE and secures and protects the rights of the minority. And the individual is the smallest minority.

After further research, I am sorry to say that in my opinion Colonel Harry Riley is attempting a military coup. In interviews I have read or heard, Riley says that while violence is not a preferred option, he intends to use it if his list of elected officials do not resign, surrender and submit to a trial by a court of his choosing.

I really don’t want to believe this of Colonel Riley as I have the highest respect for fellow vets. I took a lot of personal time to weed out the biased reporting and came to my conclusion by what was stated directly by him.

Riley states that the Egypt’s Arab spring movement is his model for leading a second American revolution. I believe whatever you think is wrong with the U.S. it will be much worse when our country is governed by a few rouge military officers and their militias as has transpired in Egypt.

All I have to say is it is sad for me to think that many frustrated and well meaning “patriots” are being duped and used and it won’t end well as they become domestic terrorist.

I feel I learned a lot in this short time from many of you in this forum and I thank you for sharing your perspectives. However, I think this forum has crossed a line for me morally and ethically. I will not participate in a place that allows an organization to recruit and promote the militant overthrow of our country. I promised to serve and protect our country and unlike Colonel Harry Riley, that doesn’t stop just because I’ve become a civilian and I’m unhappy with the current legal elected officials. Great post Art. I haven't researched the Col. but whether I agree or disagree I feel it is important that we stand up for others right to speak. When we decide who is allowed to voice their opinion and who is not then next time it might be my opinion that is allowed to be gagged.

You must have read what I did about riley. He doesn't have the balls to come out and say what he would like to see done but if he can find enough idiots to do try and do his dirty work for him good for him. Anyone attempting to over throw our government should be shot on sight especially if they are carrying a weapon. The rest should be charged with treason and locked away for good. I'd say our government and all agencies that protect Washington already have plans in place in case these people get out of hand at their take the country back rally in may.

Tell your son thanks for his service. I had a lot of sleepless nights when my youngest was gone for 4 years, 3 of them over seas in those shit holes we shouldn't be in to begin with.

What people like you don't like is someone else having a different opinion than yours. Art was spot on with his take of riley and I came to the same conclusion several weeks back when reading about riley. If anyone is stupid enough to follow riley they deserve what ever happens to them. :thumbup:

Do you know what 669..You are not even worth conversing with you have a very bad habit of calling people names ..You do not even know me or any one of the others who are involved in operation american spring..But yet you say we are stupid? Tell me your plan for restoring America..Or are you just one of those guys who are satisfied because your 401 k is doing ok..Whats your plan..Do you think that everything is just fine and dandy..Do you believe that our federal government is headed in the right direction..If you have a better idea lets hear it..I have no interest in any violence whatsoever..Colonel Riley has no interest in any violence whatsoever..Why should we have to worry about retribution against us..Are we not guaranteed freedom of speech..Are we not guaranteed to have our grievances heard..Just what is it that bothers you about this movement..I completely understand where Art is coming from,he seems to have good intentions ..But you just flat out dont like what we are doing even though it is within our rights as citizens..Trust me when i say that if you have any input that would be helpful to us we would certainly listen..But calling people ( stupid ) is childish..
