This was a discussion about sexual abuse of women driven in no small part by the events of the last week but if you want to expand the discussion to include female abuse of males then I am open to that. Unusual for females to sexually abuse men but it does happen and some cases have gone to court. Neither should be acceptable but before we create a false equivalency here the overwhelming majority of abuse and harassment cases are male on female. Since I am familiar with stories of women in executive positions aggressively hitting on young men the problem seems to be power acting as some kind of intoxicant and that is something that many men in positions of power have struggled with. Significantly few women are empowered in this way.
It sounds like your situation was centered around a different dynamic and if you were victimized by an abusive woman in some fashion then your story is no less legitimate than any other. One might think you would have a little more empathy for another victim having been on the receiving end of someone’s else’s
psychologically unhinged behavior but perhaps for you that is a work in progress.

Archie being a victim himself, and me being a victim as well, we clearly see that Ford was NOT a victim. This was all manufactured and staged, and she tried to use her psychology experience to pull it off. Its really interesting that she "forgot" everything that could be verified. Like the specific house. Or how she got there. Or how she got home. And to forget what music was playing?? Really?? All b.s.

I was NOT sexually abused by that woman. Any other abuse you can name, I was subjected to. Took me 4 years of planning, rat holing money, and feeding her rope to escape without having to pay her to screw up my kids.

Men victimize women......BULLCORN!!

It's a two sided coin, and the "victim" card won't wash without proof.

I find it strange that women, homos, and leftists claim the monopoly on abuse.

People victimize people. It's that simple. It is not exclusive to any gender, or group.

You’ve obviously been through a rough time and the bitterness shows but maybe when you are less angry you could re-read my last post and understand what I posted did not say the kind of things you are reacting to.

This was all as predicted even before the orange disaster sat down in the white house for the first time.

If we had stopped Kavanaugh, we would simply have another obedient orange servant to contend with..

Kav may well be dirty enough to impeach in a couple years.. Maybe we can get them all in a bunch..

as for now, we have our work cut out for the next several weeks and i for one am doing my part the best I can..

The Trump/GOP rush to get Kavanaugh on the Court NOW, is because there is a case on the OCT. SCOTUS calendar that, when passed by the majority of the GOP Conservative Justices; will allow TRUMP to PARDON his

family and friends who will be before New York D.A.'s. They will all be charged, and are sure to be found guilty of obstruction of justice and money laundering. The law now, will not allow the President to pardon any person

found guilty in a State Court. Trump and the GOP have been covering up their true agenda to get Kavanaugh confirmed..

Ford lied before the Senate under oath! It was also ignored. She committed perjury in front of the Senate a few times, where's your outrage over that??!!

1. Fear of flying- lied.
2. Experience with polygraphs - lied.
3, 2 front doors for claustrophobia - lied.
4. Marriage counselor's notes - lied.
5. Sexual abuse by Brett Kavanaugh - lied.
6. PTSD - lied.
7. Victim - lied.

The Kavanaugh hearings were a circus contributed to by both parties and really achieved nothing more than we already knew:
That Trump is determined to stack the court with openly partisan conservatives who will turn the country hard right on social issues like birth control, abortion, civil rights and immigration and the Democrats are just as determined to stop this by all means possible. The strain of this battle did reveal however the unsuitability of Kavanaugh to be a Supreme Court Justice based on his Trump- inspired privileged white boy tantrum at the end of the hearing. As the retired Republican appointed Justice John Paul Stevens, GOP Senator Murkowski, the American Bar Association and others noted, this candidate is temperamentally unsuited for a lifetime seat
On the court. No doubt the majority GOP Senate will confirm him but he will never shake the taint of his evidence-free naked partisan accusations and his weird conspiratorial Alex Jones channeling. Legitimacy and credibility by the majority of thinking educated Americans will be denied him and any opinion written by him will be forever suspect, just like Clarence Thomas.

The one thing about throwing dung is that it clings to everyone involved, the thrower, the target, the audience (both the physical presence and the smell). I, for one, am tired of all the screeching, chanting, failure to maintain order in a serious hearing, the presumption of guilt, the yellow journalism of once bonafide news media, the public who decides to follow blindly any political party or party line. I seriously doubt that any of us can claim to have godly ability to say what the majority of thinking, educated Americans think about the poor performance of our Senate leaders (on both sides) and the inappropriate, disruptive conduct of the gallery.

When members of our government and newspapers suggest civil discourtesy and call for confrontations, when government leaders air on national television what should have been addressed in a different manner, then I am ashamed that I voted for some of them. I'm ashamed I bought some of the newspapers. I'm only watching different news channels so that I will learn what each party is pushing before the upcoming elections. I use the internet for research on both sides of issues. And I quote somebody, "keep your friends close, but keep your enemies closer." Personally, I don't want to be within a mile of those who think combative actions are excused by "their" experiences or view points. I am highly suspicious of the motives of anyone who has a closed mind and decides he can read mine. When someone starts slinging dung, I tune them out. I hear them; but their credibility is shot.

We should all keep things civil, both in word and deed. Two wrongs don't make a right.

I just LOVE hearing butthurt Liberal cries of pain. Whine, moan and bitch all you like. You lost. Just like you lost the House, then the Senate, then the presidency, along with about 3/4 of the state houses. One would think you'd be getting used to it by now. Oh, get used to an even larger Republican majority in the Senate. Heidi Heitkamp is toast. Joe Manchin votes with Republicans. McCaskill is probably going to lose, and Flake is being replaced by a solid conservative rather than a RINO.
Your chances in the House don't look much better.

What this country needs are politicians and judges who put country first over partisan politics. Many of our problems stem from leaders who put political and big business interests ahead of what's best for their constituents. We the people need to take our country back.

Should we forgive them; for they know not what they do?
Well; The Senate confirmed Judge Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court, with screaming from the gallery, and demonstrations against it in the streets.
It looks much similar to those screaming for the Communist Bolsheviks to take power in Russia with violence in the streets. The Bolsheviks were successful; and it took over 100 years to throw them out.
Big Money/Bankers from the USA and Europe financed that “Revolution”.
Who is funding the “Left” today?
George Soros for starters, using people in the streets doing his bidding.
We have our TASS look alike; The MSM (NBC-CBS-ABC-CNN) backing that effort.
The MSM will attempt to help this insurrection to continue.
BUT
The majority of people have caught on to Fake News, and are now mad enough to vote.
AND
America is not the Russia of old. The MSM can give the protestors all the coverage and publicity they do;
BUT
I predict;
The next elections will make America stronger.
America will not let Leftists take back control of our government.
