It's the equivalent of a law school graduates calling himself/herself a lawyer w/o having passed the bar exam. That's treated very seriously in Cali, and regularly prosecuted in criminal courts. I'm 77 yo. When I consider the women I knew like mom granny 5 aunts. 9 female cousins and friends...I don't recognize this new breed of men hating extreme feminist stooge of one or any political party. They were all politically aware and tolerant. They wouldn't understand this new crop. But they had newspapers of various political persuasions to read. The Sunday talk shows were paneled by pro journalists not former DEM press secretaries, house speaker employees and generally partisan hacks all in bed with ABC CBS NBC CNN CNBC WASH. POST NYTIMES AND FAKE PUBLIC RADIO all walking the same propaganda line. Looks like Hitler won after all and Dr. Goebbels would be so proud of our media.

Just a word here about the strong and principled women in your own family you mentioned... they never gave in to or gave up the fight against the corruption existing in the politics and suppression of freedom around the world at that time... nor should we now.
