Under California law, in order to call represent yourself as a psychologist, you must actually be licensed by the State of California. Ford is a professor of psychology, and a researcher, but has never been licensed in California or anywhere else to actually practice psychology.
To misrepresent yourself in an opening statement to a Senatorial Committee is technically illegal.

What convinced me that she was telling the truth, her huge exponential hippocampus!

What is a little misrepresentation among Democrats?

It seems the girls at the prep-school Ford went to regularly drank themselves into a state of black-out at 14-15 years old. It is not surprising that something traumatic happened at some time to this women. She IS a far-left activist, a card carrying member of the resistance, and I don't think it took much pressure to get her to accuse Judge Kavanaugh. She is now an heroic figure to the people she respects and identifies with. All she had to do was tell herself if didn't matter if he did it or not, he's "dangerous" to their and her agenda so anything was fair game. Same greater good garbage that liars on the left use all the time.

Will Ford face charges for lying to Congress? How about defamation of character for the other two accusers? These are felonies carrying 2 -5 years in prison and stiff fines.

She won't face any charges because she says the memory was "recovered". Some Psychiatric intervention was necessary and such memories are not permitted in court. There is no way to determine truth or falsity of such memories.

Kavanaugh can sue her in civil court for damages to his reputation as well as his job prospects. Most likely it will all blow away.

Well then if in fact the means justifies the end ... this debacle of a testimony & accusation against SC nominee Judge Kavanaugh is a clear example of such... whether or not the means employed result in the end intended remains to be seen.
"blow away" ? ... maybe.. more likely blow back for the dems in the midterm elections.

She's neck deep in the CIA & is part of The Deep State's plot to takeout Donald J. Trump. Remember the Military-Industrial Complex that Dwight Eisenhower warned about? The CIA is the linchpin for it and the Democrats who wail about it are part of it.

Spot on. I'm getting so tired of hearing " I believe her story....I think something did happen to her, but don't think it was Kavanaugh". Even Judge Jeannine carries that sentiment which surprised me. She's a liberal activist, marched in the disgusting pussy parade and she's been bought and paid for by the demonRat party. End of story.

Yeah... I was a little surprised too that Judge Jeanine seem to echo the same sentiment you refer to... much too gratuitous in assuming the something that happened was of a sexual nature... more likely what has happened to Ford during the last 36 yrs. is the diligent and distructive practice of Leftism, plain and obvious IMO.

I couldn't agree more.
It will be wonderful when the country can get past this debacle. Confirm the man and let's move on! Linda was right in her post that there are many things we could be focusing on, but SCOTUS outcome will impact our country for decades to come, along with the outcome in November. World affairs will matter little if we lose our country. Agree?

It is amazing how these revelations on Ford surfaces. What and where is the evidence?
Publish and broadcast it. Sadly, you will play hell getting any body to prosecute. You can't even get Hillary properly investigated and tried.
Don't you get it? We've list our constitutional nation. Democrats win.
Oh if the GOP wins in both houses in November we get a second chance...barely. IF!

This is the same game plan which has been used to knock out other candidates for Congress as well as Supreme Court nominees. It has very little to do with suitability for the position or the good of the nation and everything to do with partisan desires to dominate and control the nation.

We have let our Constitutional guarantees of due process fall by the wayside. Accusations such as this should never have been accorded such a grotesque public display. Every injured party has the right to seek redress, through the police and the courts. They do not have an absolute right to a public podium from which they can slander another's reputation or demand that the accused's rights be abrogated because of some special circumstance pertinent to the accuser.
