Listening to the "circus" on TV.

I agree...Kavanaugh needs to be tough in his opening statement........Just like Clarence Thomas was...
Speaking of Justice Thomas, it would be interesting and insightful to know his views on the debacle Judge Kavanaugh is going through today.

We already know he's not, he isn't very good at telling the truth here, maybe because the truth is what it is?
Take this to Mark Judge testifying, and Kavanaugh's three year girlfriend and the truth will be clear, it's all in the details
Who is Kavanaugh's three year girlfriend??

What difference does it make? Who were Obama’s girlfriends or boyfriends?
We need more of what Lindsey Graham had to say.

Give that gal an academy award !!!!!
NICE touch with the quivering voice and heavy breathing !!!!
The same could be said of Brett Kavanaugh's demeanor in his opening statement. I do not say that in a demeaning way, as both he & Mrs. Ford appeared credible in this stressful proceeding. To be honest, I have a hard time dismissing either of their testimonies, and am at a loss as to who to believe. Both are successful, accomplished professionals in their fields.
Obviously, one of them has to be either lying or terribly mistaken.
For better or worse, the fate of each lies in the chamber of the Senate.
My only problem with Ford is this was overtly political By her. Not saying it did or didn’t happen. I have a problem with bringing a potential felony to a politician and not law enforcement.

Senator Kennedy: "Judge Kavanaugh, do you believe in God?"
Kavanaugh: "Yes, sir"
Kennedy: "Can you look me in the eye and tell me that all four of these allegations against you are not true?"
Kavanaugh: "Yes, sir - none of these allegations against me, personally, are not true"
Kennedy: "Do you swear to God that YOU are telling the truth?"
Kavanaugh: "Yes, sir, I swear to God that I am telling the truth."

I hate to beat a dead horse, but all SCOTUS confirmation hearings are political in nature. Merrick Garland was put on hold without even a hearing for close to a year...for political reasons. He was clearly (IMO) the most qualified...he was Kavanaugh's superior, but a centrist.
The question on my mind: When will it end
Not likely ever.
But, as Doris Day sang..."Que sera, sera...whatever will be, will be. The future's not ours to see, que sera, sera."
Apples and oranges. We are talking about an alleged victim. I am saying she is overtly political. She had thirty plus years to bring this to law enforcement.

Freakenstine seems to think that if you have numerous "degrees" you won't lie!!! What a dufus !!!! And WHY is SHE giving an opening statement .... she needs to SHUT UP!!!! Any minute now, she's going to run over and kiss her butt !!!!
DESPICABLE DEMON-CRAPS !!!!
WHY is FREAKINSTINE allowed to give this POS a GLOWING summary and tell LIES about KAVANAUGH!?!?!
WHAT A CIRCUS !!!!!
Clarence Thomas said "this is a circus." today Kavanaugh said "This is a Circus" Both of them are guilty as hell. As Dianne Feinstein gave her opening statement Grassely sat their shuffling papers ignoring her. Republican tried to appear accommodating but they didn't allow any supporting testimony. During the Clarence Thomas hearings the Democrats had the majority but allowed 23 witness to appear and Joe Biden called for an FBI investigation. Kavanaugh resorted to the usual conservative tactic of if you yell your outrage loud enough people will believe you
