So true, it's sad that in today's twisted world, anyone can see the correlation, it really is a good versus evil moment

Yes, it is. The only trouble sometimes is seeing the evil players for who they really are, and that's a fact.

It really is less difficult than a lot of people think, don't listen to what is said, watch what is done. For me when someone claims to be for the little people, that tells me right away that, that person considers others to be beneath themselves, evil is ugly at it's very core, but it's presentation is usually quite nice

Too funny. Every opportunity, in your mind, to possibly score some points. Anyone who disagrees with me there you are with your numerous emoticons of favor. I truly hate seeing people living in resentment, even you. I was wrong, you were right. I am evil, you are good. You are a far, far better person on our worst day than me on my best. Calling me "scum of the earth" would be like giving me a crown compared to my true nature. Does that work for you?

Would the story be any different or have other twists if it was the AuntiE and the grasshopper?

I have no idea of what you are talking about. I agree with those to whom I agree. I give them feedback in the form of a thumbs up. For those that I disagree, and if I have data to support my position, I make comment. If I do not have the data, then I press on and do not leave feedback.

Is your conscious bothering you? Perhaps a visit to your priest or a good talk with a friend can help you sort out your difficulties.

Now a question, why on earth would I call you a name? Have you seen me address others in an uncivilized manner? I know that I have been firm in my position, but to call a person a name is not part of my disposition.

How charming of him.

Did I tell you, I discovered a small bag of sugar snaps in my veggie bin. I am doing everything in my power to hid them. It is my give up for Lent. It was very difficult to make the dinner salad this evening knowing they were there. :hunf:

I so understand. We have cleaned out all of our cabinets in preparation of Passover. Why is it that when you know that you can not have something, it is always front and center of your mind? I want some garbanzo bean salad.... but ............. You have made it through the week, just think of how good those sugar snaps will be in 25 days and no guilt!

Obviously the Passover cleaning gene came across the river to me and my frig. I went through it like a storm trooper earlier.

I confess, if I were not in Mike and Helen's home, there would probably be science projects growing in the frig. I will clean ovens, clean after sick people, and even the toilet; but the frig is not one of those things I enjoy doing. The family gets together and we go to each other's homes to do the pre Passover cleaning...and I can not tell you what a Godsend it is to have one cousin that can make the frig look and smell good. We collect all the stuff that has be out of the house and we cook like crazy people and what we do not use, then we take to the shelter. Duckie is just full of questions and I think she is having fun.

I am thinking since I can actually see space, I may take the shelves out, one at a time, and clean them. With cooperative weather, I can clean them outside. I hate doing ovens. I think the problem with cleaning the frig is either totally emptying it or moving things from one place to another to clean.

These are the family activities she did not have. She is going to enjoy every part of it, even the work.

When I do ovens, I put a pan of boiling water in the oven for about 20 minutes. This takes care of most of the mess. Then I use an old fashioned scrubber, the coiled stainless steel thing and that get the baked on. Baking soda cleans the glass and then I am done. I then sit back and listen to the stories everyone tells on each other. I never thought about taking the shelves from the frig outside to clean....that makes so much sense! Another great tip.

Our child is such a joy! So full of questions. You remember when she first came to us she was painfully shy, but now she is just another kid in the family. She did not have many of the experiences before. I took her to the Smithsonian the other day to introduce her to a few friends. She was so happy, it was just the two of us and she talked my ear off. But, you probably know by now, I am quite the motor mouth. So we have a ball, she starts a sentence and I finish and vice versa. I am truly a blessed woman!
