The so called God of the Bible makes Osama Bin Laden look like a Boy Scout. This God, according to the Bible, is directly responsible for many mass-murders, rapes, pillage, plunder, slavery, child abuse and killing, not to mention the killing of unborn children. Just about every other page in the Old Testament has God killing somebody! In 2 Kings 10:18-27, God orders the murder of all the worshipers of a different god in their very own church! In total God kills 371,186 people directly and orders another 1,862,265 people murdered. The God of the Bible also allows slavery, including selling your own daughter as a sex slave (Exodus 21:1-11), child abuse (Judges 11:29-40 & Isaiah 13:16), and bashing babies against rocks (Hosea 13:16 & Psalms 137:9). This type of criminal behavior should shock any moral person. Murder, rape, pillage, plunder, slavery, and child abuse can not be justified by saying that some god says it’s OK. If more people would actually sit down and read the Bible there would be a lot more atheists like myself.

There are several reasons for my atheism, the leading of which is the idea of a higher power is not probable in light of current scientific data. The second of which is I do not find the state of the world in accordance with an idea of a loving and merciful higher power. Then of course there is the factor that the basis of this essay shall be about; I do not find the Biblical God fit for worship. If this god so loved the world and was its creator why did he creat a world whee very thing in it has to kill something else and ear it in order to survive. And why are 60 % of all living organisms parasites that make their living attaching them selves to others organisms and sucking their jucies out in order to thrive

You know Nikolai you always say things like "the Republicans have been in charge for 40 years". Which is why many don't take your posts seriously. From my perspective this country has gone further an further left over the past 40 years. And EVERY time the dems are in charge they mess things up a little bit more for the average person. As far as I am concerned the federal government has gotten far too big for their britches. Keep the roads fixed, keep the borders secure, make sure their are safeties in place for food and drug consumers and negotiate good trade deals. But every time the dems are in they try to legislate our personal lives and put out weird new narratives about it. I DO NOT WANT the governmen't to be a parent. AND they're pretty crappy parents at that. The homeless population keeps growing, while they import bullies and support them very well with our tax dollars. And the list goes on and on and on and on. The size of a pop? Really? The dems have been allowwd to chip away at decency over the past 20 years especially and folks have had enough. IMO.

The Bible traces the bloodline from Adam leading up to the birth of Yahshua/Jesus.
The Bible also covers Esau and the Canaanites.
The Bible only covers the last 6,000 + years of this Earth's history.
The Bible also covers the interactions of Judah and 10 tribed Israel with other nations. Their captivities, etc.
AND it includes a whole lot of prophesy from the prophets in the Old Testament.
Jesus/Yahshua fulfilled those prophesies.

Replace democrats with "republicans" in the above sentence and we will be in true agreement. Bahmer when did we become so divided that we cannot even have a rational discussion without petty insults and put downs? Man has disagreed with one another since Cain and Abel, yet always managed to find some way to peacefully interact -until Trump came along with his "us against them" attitude. True, we will never agree on everything, but the division we now experience is truly sad, and so unnecessary. Yes, we have a ways to go to achieve equality and harmony among the races, but at least we were making progress....not so much since Trump. You have a good day also, and peace be unto you.
