This is one of those cases that would be very hard to defend the cop, yet those on the right are going to be inclined simply not to say anything if they have to say the cop did wrong, that cops can't shoot someone in their own homes and say oops, I made a mistake.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/nation/2018/09/09/theres-enough-evidence-charge-dallas-officer-accused-killing-man-his-home-lawyer-says/?utm_term=.73bc3dfd487c

I've been reading articles about this from the start, and it's one of those cases that seems impossible to defend, but defend it the right will do.Please if you identify with the right and find this unacceptable please just say so, saying nothing is sort of an indicator you won't take a stand against cops killing people, especially for no reason except negligence or incompetence.

This cop's story has changed and that is well documented. There is no single story she is telling that makes any sense or is a defense against at least a manslaughter charge. She supposedly didn't know it wasn't her apartment, yet she was knocking on the door? Her key wasn't working so when the door opened she was startled by a strange man in her apartment? She apparently was inside the apartment when the shooting occurred, how could she not know it wasn't her apartment?

This thing stinks, and defending this cop is ludicrous, but Cruz is going there.

There are many things I don't know yet regarding this incident and I am so happy you can answer everyone's questions with authority.

Right! A female cop enters, what she believes her apartment, and sees a black man inside. Where is her focus, on the furniture?

I'm just telling what seems to be the common threads on a dozen reports, none of which make much if any to defend this cop. Read an article or two and use your brain, is there a defense here you see?

And that makes sense to you in your world, really? This cop is brain dead if her story is to have any credibility. Read articles and use your head rather than being another automatic defender of that which you know nothing about.

Female cop...thinks she's in her own apartment (even though a black man opened the door for her). You people need to read the known facts before taking up idiotic defenses. Common sense tells you whether changing stories make any sense or not.

2% do not ruin it for anyone else, this is why cops get defended in bad cases, people think a guilty cop makes all the others guilty too. This isn't a blanket tribalism matter, each shooting has to be judged on the case and not whether it's seen as a betrayal to others, which it is not.

2% guilty means 2% are guilty, not the rest too.

2% may be guilty but your mob condemns 98%. ICE "rips" children out of the arms of mothers. Repeat a lie often enough and a portion of people will believe it to be fact.

You Progressives are great at condemning someone before a trial; before evidence is presented in court.
Me? I'll wait and see.

I'm on the right and I think she is lying her butt off. I read where a neighbor heard her say "Let me in." When the neighbor heard the gun shot She heard him say "Why did you do that?" She knew it wasn't her apartment. I think something was going on between the two of them and she was crazy enough to believe she could kill him and get away with it. Her story stunk the first time i heard it. She is lying and will spend the rest of her days in prison.

People love a lie, padremike. It goes down better. Not bitter like the low down dirty truth.
