For your information, the US is officially no longer a christian nation as defined by over 50% of the people, atheists and agnostics are over 50%. Not only that but the percentage of americans who support pro choice is approaching 70%. The whole anti gay, anti abortion, right to practice your religion thing is becoming a losing message as americans turn away from those "values".
Here's an interesting little fact, hispanics are christian, historically they had been a rock solid conservative vote until the GOP started running on borders, no path to citizenship, anti DACA, and general racist BS. It's starting to be safe to say that the GOP can no longer count on the christian hispanic base the way they once could.

No doubt you dug up this garbage from a liberal landfill somewhere, or maybe got it from a lib prog psyche ward like CNN or MSNBC. Whatever the case, you and your mentally dysfunctional comrades are full of shyte.
Polls conducted by Pew Research, Gallup, UPI/Harris, and other researchers reveal that 80% of Americans believe in God, 2.4% are atheists, the rest are agnostic or undecided. The percentages for the world population are similar--84% of the people on earth have faith in a higher power, a third of them are Christians.
There are approximately 275 million adults in the US, 173 million of them are Christians, 56 million are without any religious affiliation and these are not necessarily atheists. 46 million are agnostics. To put this in perspective, if the US had a population of 100 people, we'd have 71 Christians, 2 Jews, 1 Muslim, 1 Hindu, 1 Buddhist, 2 of other faiths, and 23 without a religious affiliation.
But the numbers of faithful and faithless are not the issue here. The issue is the denial that America is a Christian nation. Well, that's one hell of an argument isn't it? Barack Hussein Obama did his damnedest to deny such a thing and he exalted Islam to do it. He praised Islam at every opportunity, he never once acknowledged the existence of Islamic terrorists and turned the tables on Christians.
However, woodenhead, let us talk about Christian nations, specifically America, and to do that we have to go back to our nation's founding. You see, woody, our founding fathers were very devout men, they were deeply religious and the majority of them were Christians, but their intention was not to establish a Christian theocracy, rather they were guided in their efforts to establish a free nation by the principles of Christian morality, compassion, and individual freedom. Jefferson expounded on these principles in the Declaration of Independence, and it was upon these principles that Madison (and others) framed our Constitution. IOW, they did not create a Christian nation per se, rather they established our nation on a Christian foundation. If you don't like it, if this cross is too heavy for you to bear, there are plenty of countries across the world that can offer you a refuge from the horrors of those who love God. China heads the list as the nation with the greatest atheist population.
