Bob you just reminded me of the 1944 election where a New York paper headline that showed FDR as the loser and the Republican as the winner. Of course, we all know about that election and its outcome. Damned Democrat won and proved the Dem who had said it would be FDR as very right. He said there couldn't lose because with FDR there would be no dick and no tater, either. You weren't around back then, were you. I hadn't voted yet but did get to do it in 1956.
