Trump, stoking the flames of hatred toward the press, tweeted Sunday journalists are “unpatriotic” and putting “the lives of many...at risk.” During his Tampa rally, the crowd screamed obscenities at CNN’s Jim Acosta, chanted “CNN sucks,” and flashed middle fingers. Trump’s son Eric tweeted a clip of the crowd chanting “CNN sucks,” and added #Truth. Trump then retweeted Eric’s tweet. Fox News’s Sean Hannity added “the people of this country, they’re screaming at you [Acosta and media critical of Trump] for a reason.”
Do Trump's rallies and these attacks on the free press bear any semblance to what occurred in Germany in the 1930s?
Why do you guys always need such red meat? And just why is Trump holding rallies during his second year of his presidency? Does Trump not understand that he won? Is Trump so sensitive that he can't stand any criticisms whatsoever? I thought we liberals were the snowflakes but here Trump is acting like the biggest snowflake of them all...
