Trump didn't ask Russia to hack anything. He said if Russia had them they should give them to US newspapers. That was before he realized they wouldn't publish them if they had them.

There was allegedly evidence she had been hacked multiple times before and the reason for asking Russia to find the Emails was that she had destroyed them. Therefore even if Russia hacked her in response to Trump they would have found what the government got which was zip, zero, nada. It is difficult to hack a bleachbitted server or an I-phone which had the Anvil chorus played on it with a hammer.

Get your historic facts straight when you want to point fingers of blame. This is a stupid assertion on your part because her files had been illegally purged by her. Trump was indicating the Russians most likely had copies available because of her illegal use of a non-secure server to conduct classified government business.
