Democrats should reward them with their very worst nightmare. All of these steps could be achieved without amending the Constitution. They would rely on new legislation, but more important, on Democrats as republicans have, abandoning any lingering commitment to a norm about power: That legislation cannot have the explicit goal of securing a lasting partisan advantage.

We will have to wait and see on that and how much comes to pass. Puerto Rico deffinatly should be a State. They are languishing as a territoty. I am in favor of Automatic voter registration and I prefer mail in ballots as a way to ensure more people vote. Something deffinately needs to be done with undocumented immigrants living here. These people will keep coming walls or not. I did enjoy the reading.
