That's funny because it seems to me that Ms. Waters is doing the same thing as the President. She is defining him, and he is revealing himself, just as surely as Mr. Trump is doing it to her.

I think these two are the perfect embodiment of our current zeitgeist. Whether conservatives like it or not, Ms. Waters critiques of the administration ring true to many liberal ears. Just as surely as Trump's words ring in yours.

He is brilliant the way he does it. They attack him, threaten all those in his circle with violence, including children, hire people to picket and I am sure are behind the sudden influx at the border somehow. He responds with name calling, but does not threaten anyone or tell anyone to attack anyone. Yet the left goes berserk as if he started it. They then use threats of violence and even death. The left is threatening our freedom and Democracy and our Constitution. They are furious because Obama started pushing us towards a Socialistic regime and Clinton was to take over and finish it, with Dems being in charge forever.

Like I said: they don't care. In Trump they have a man who will give them the majority of the ideological goodies that they desire. They want a Wall to keep out the brown hordes and Trump will give them one. They want a tax cut for the wealthy and Trump and his cronies will give them one. All the ideological touch stones they desire Trump is prepared to hand to them or at least give the impression that he is fighting for them. Further, authoritarianism is right up their alley. I mean they can goosestep with the best of them so Kim and Putin are men to be admired not reviled. Sadly that's the nature of conservatives and a nature they seem eager to embrace...
