Look it up-such raging homophobia comes from one source-the homophobic's conflicted feelings about his own same sex attractions or his inner anger at feeling those same sex attractions.

But to insult our men and women in uniform with your "I was in the military before the military went queer" is simply vile and not normal. And the other thing-eyesite requirements for the Navy and the marines are, and have been, exactly the same. I checked with some veteran friends who served in the Marines and the Navy. They laughed out loud and for along time at your tall tale. Especially the part about working on the flight deck.
I thought that sounded strange. You were not kept out of the USMC for poor eyesight and then recruited by the Navy with the same eyesight problems. So you were placed at a job on the flight deck of an aircraft carrier where the loss of your glasses through any number of factors, including jet thrust, could have caused the crash of a multi-million dollar jet and the possible loss of life of highly trained personnel.
If anything, the Navy could be be choosier than the Marines during the Vietnam War as they were swamped with potential recruits wanting to get out of any possibility of fighting in the bush. Which is probably the reason you joined the Navy in the first place. No shame in that-none at all as you had plenty of company-except that it effects you're own view of yourself as a "manly man."
And you stated you worked on the flight deck immediately up completing training (with what you admit was no training for a job on the flight deck,) yet in another post claimed to have "worked your way up" to a job on the flight deck although not qualified or trained for the job. You claimed, after a period of time, to have gotten "a waiver" for said job.
My guess is that your story is much like everything else you say-highly questionable in origin.
