Trump is fixing a problem with Canada that every President has complained about since Carter, but done nothing about.

Care to elaborate, please inform us of the "problem" every president has complained about.

It is never easy to pay more for products but it has to be done. We have our own lumber but the EPA won't allow us to harvest it. Same as with oil. Trump has gotten rid of a lot of the regulations that were killing off industry. We can't keep on getting into debt over imports/exports. There are several industries that will hurt initially but as soon as we break the dependency and make better deals with our trading partners things will get better and America will be stronger. Being in debt to foreign countries is actually bad for our national security.

Timber is a renewable resource. Just keep planting more trees and quit harvesting the old growth forests.

STFU. NAFTA, along with unfair trade practices practiced by Canada and Mexico just to name a few countries have harmed Americans much more than perceived higher prices. You liberals always suck up. No backbone. Bunch of wussies.

The positive aspect of that is that we will have to reinvigorate our own producers. Yes, it will raise prices but it will make us competitive on world markets and no longer dependent on foreign sources for national defense needs.

The past eight years of stupid rules and regulations have caused much of the high prices and high taxes. President Trump is slowly removing these stupid rules and regulations.

Once they are gone things are beginning to boom again and make AMERICA great again.

These libs don't care. They don't think we are the greatest country in the world. They don't like being number one since they have always been at the back of the pack.

Go away. What would you do about unfair trade. They charge us huge tariffs. Doesn't bother people like you though because you're an America second kinda person/
