Our government says it is very difficult to fire a federal government employee even if he has blatantly failed in his duties and responsibilities or betrayed the trust of the American people. His retirement pay is often based on a percentage of his high three year salary while in office and his length of service.

There is a solution. If it’s too difficult to fire the public self servant, demote him to the lowest possible grade in the Federal government. Peter Stroczk should not have been reassigned and given the right to retain his current pay grade, rather he should be demoted from his GS-16 grade where he continues to knock down a hefty $150,000.00 paycheck to a GS-2 where the pay more suits his value to the American public. Give him a job in the kitchen doing “pots and pans” or have him serve as a “janitors aide” while serving out the term of his service. We have to find better ways to punish those who choose to sign up as members of the “deep state” if we are going to “discourage bad behavior.” Time to revamp the federal employment system which has very light or no punishment for federal employees who betray the trust of the American people. Best way to discourage bad behavior is to “fire the rogue employee.”

I wholeheartedly agree. Even that is too good for the likes of Stroczk - in the good old days he would have been fired and prosecuted with appropriate prison time.

These problems have been with us sense our conception! The government that has developed since F.D.R. and his New Deal is Government by the bureaucracy and for the bureaucracy. We the little people have become nothing more than serfs to the State. —Douglas Vogt

Clinton perfected it. Look how many stupid people actually believe he ended up with a surplus to this day. persona non grata/ Hippocrates We must remind Scotusis that justice James Wilson said the first and governing Maxim in the interpretation of a statute is to discover the meaning of those who made it. Our present justices seem to have forgotten that one small detail. Truth has no agenda!

Really, let an outside HR review their records and fire accordingly. There is no reason why those Civil Servants that are not preforming to the regulations and stands of the Government should keep their jobs or retirements if they are spreading ill-will and negative remarks about the leadership of our country. Their jobs are to support the President (no matter what party) and our Nation.

You got that right!!! Nice to see you, Mom. 🌺

I say suspended without pay too when there is reason to fire the person!

If its a criminal act then pension is suspended too!! If they understand no pension to fall back on just maybe the deterrent aspect will mean something..??? Doubtful, but maybe???

It is sickening that Lois Lerner is collecting her pension. And now she doesn't want the transcripts of her activities in the public eye, "they would be a danger to her family"

That's a common-sense solution that deserves to have some legs. I think I'll air this and see if I can't get some interest started in a potion to Congress. Thanks
