Guess what, it is not all about you. If you are still working, good for you. But the physical demands of some jobs, like roofers, commercial painters and OTR truckers don't allow all to work.
And the real question is, have you and your friends "retired" and returned to the work force, or are you and friends forced to work? Since you have passed 65, it seems to be voluntary on your part.

At 67, I still work, and have friends in their 70s who are still working. Most are staunch conservatives, ... I wonder if that has something to do with their work ethos. As a matter of fact, I now realize that all of them have, as I have, for most of their lives worked at more than one job.
