Trump's latest attack on the DOJ is obstruction in daylight. If Rosenstein complies, and it seems that he will, appointing Horowitz to investigate the FBI informant in the Trump campaign interferes with an ongoing investigation of whom the president is seen as a person of interest. Providing information about an ongoing investigation to the person of that investigation is illegal. Demanding that the DOJ releases such information to Trump is clearly obstruction of justice. Maybe treason.
