Obama didn't profit from US tax dollars, big difference. The thing is, "allowing" a President to profit from our tax dollars is up to the discretion of Congress and if the majority rule of Congress is the same as the presidents, they will kowtow to the desires of the president rather then doing the right thing and not allow this conflict of interest but we already know where our majority Congress lies, not high on the ethical bar rather they are aligned with someone such as low bar Trump.

How did our President profit? He no longer has ties to these? According to the documents, the president resigned as a director for Trump International Golf Club Scotland, which owns the course and boutique hotel that Trump opened north of Aberdeen in 2012.

He also resigned as director of two firms which own the Trump Turnberry resort in Ayrshire – SLC Turnberry and its parent company Golf Recreation Scotland.

The fourth company is DT Connect Europe, which owns the Sikorsky helicopter that Trump brought from Florida in 2014 to transport his family between their two Scottish courses and to service wealthy golfers flying in to Prestwick airport, north of Turnberry.

The mere fact that any place they use by Trump who holds Ownership is disclosed and they, the Dept.,not Trump, holds authority over it eliminates the “ perceived conflict of interest or any emoluments violation.. Under the emoluments clause Trump must disclose any gift recieved or enrichment, etc~

Why is it allowed, why no charges?? Well again there would have to be a violation.. In full disclosure to the Dept and having approval there is no violation, there is however, conformity of the law as is required, again not addressed here...

Not excuses.... in everything that happens, people must ask the logical question....what if what I am being told is untrue? Then that person, if having the ability, will go looking into facts and see if the facts match the postulated sequence . If they do not match, then that individual is obligated to deliver those finding for others to consider.
It is possible that I am wrong, or the sources... such as documents on file (in this case, Scotland) my not hold the latest or most up to date data. If that is untrue, because you have the most current information, then produce it. There is no need to debase yourself by producing only attempts to insult.
