Union leaders today? What's today got to do with it? Union leaders have always been thick-necked, opportunistic criminals. What's more frightening is their membership; millions of blood sucking parasites with IQ's matching their shoe size. That's what we have to worry about.

Many people are so ignorant that they believe unions use dues money to defend working people from politicians who work against their family's , the truth is that only the small voluntary contributions made by members and their family's to union PAC's can be used to support candidates and ballot issues that support working family's. On the other hand corporations can secretly use share holders money to make campaign contributions and they do at a rate many times that of working family's. Why do you think American workers have taken such a beating with crazy trade deals, loosing insurance, old age pensions and standard of living? oh I forgot it is because of those lazy people of color and the guy next door who is still getting by in a Union job, not the policy's bought and paid for by huge multinational corporations. Please don't keep guzzling the cool aid you are not just digging your own grave with your ignorance you are helping to bury the American middle class.

hey obama is getting ready to just kill labor in this country with tpp and what few jobs are left will go down the drain if he gets amnesty.

grace scott: once you figure out that money is only a tool...there is no win or lose option! You take all the money from the rich....give it to the poor; in six months the rich will probably have it back! It's a tool use it right, not wrong!!!! That is the problem with America...most people do not know how to set goals and make logical decisions in life! Do productively what you can, with what you have, where you are...but remember everyone should have an equal chance, but not everyone is equal."

How dense can you possibly be? The socialist and communist party's are political parties they appear on our ballots just like the Republicans or Democrats, to say that an elected member of one is a member of another is just more nut job babble. If I publish a list online that says Ted Cruze a sitting Republican Senator is a Democrat along with a bunch of his Republican colleagues (this is true by the way! here it is right on the Internet, not from the main stream media so it must be true) would you believe me?

The last I checked there is not one single member of the communist or for that matter the socialist party holding any elected seat in the US government. One socialist party member holds a seat in one state legislature in the entire country, do you really think this is doing quite well? It is fact that the money labor spends on campaign contributions is ONLY voluntary contributions from union members and their familys, never dues or pension funds. Are you actually that uninformed, or just another right wing liar?

For beginners, why don't you check out Bernie Sanders from Vermont? He has openly stated he is a Socialist, though registered as an Independent.

While there are quite a few, in my opinion, they won't openly admit it, but their actions belie their utterance's.
