No need to top that, a pregnancy that ends in miscarriage is due to the fetus being non-viable or the health of the mother is so poor that she is unable to carry to term. Abortion rips healthy infants out of healthy mother's wombs and thus is murder. To ascribe the loss of an infant to God's malevolence is blasphemy.

Imagined ill effect of not maintaining an ever better gas mileage and emissions standard, that was a mind numbingly brain dead statement. Do you not have the ability to track an issue without confusing it with one of your other grievances?

What would the benefit be, and to who would see gas emissions standards as "strangling" the industry? Higher MPG numbers only "hurt" the oil industry and car manufacturers because they have to adhere to a fleet averaged MPG that they've produced and sold for the year. They don't make as high a profit margin in the competitive and more price sensitive economy segment. So they want government support in committing to the higher end gas guzzlers. Gee, I know, Trump could offer subsidies of $10k for people buying big gas guzzlers, Bush did that in the middle of a gas price crisis, offered an $8k subsidy on gas guzzler trucks.

Ford wants to stop making cars so that it can concentrate on it's gas guzzling money makers, trucks and SUV's. It makes more money, more profit on this segment. Less vehicles, more money for the expenditure. Close plants that make cars and only operate the higher end truck segment. The average price of F-150 trucks was $44k each.

These fuel economy standards directly cause millions of barrels a day of oil to be saved, so I'm sure the oil industry is cheering on this move.

I remember the same levels of bashing democrats when they wanted to ban the use of lead in fuel. I swear to god if the right came up with some idiotic reason to reinstate the use of lead the right would be beating that drum and saying abortion was worse.
