I’m not sure what the “Left” is, but probably as amorphous a category as the “Right.” One of the things both sides fail at is resisting the tribal categorization of “them” or the “other” for being different. In a sense the binary choice of left or right follows a subconscious parental gender model which assigns the left a matriarchal orientation which explains the inclusionary, protective and indulgent characteristics seen in left of center political parties. Conversely the patriarchal orientation hews to a competitive, independent self teliance seen in right of center parties. How we all gravitate one way or the other is not real clear but sibling constellation, family dynamics and power and control structures probably influence how we find affinity for one side or the other.
Bad models of course are overly indulgent, smothering “mommy” parties, and angry, hostile authoritarian “daddy” parties. An ideal family would be a mature and respectful couple, man and woman, at the helm, providing the family with a sense of security and continuity. This does not mean there will never be conflict. There will always be issues to work through, or for, or against. But most Americans wish for a more workable peace between the political tribes.
Leaders on either side who seek to gain dominance over the other by divisive populism, and fear mongering are depriving us all of the promise of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. America is a very unhappy divided family right now. I wish it was better.

I agree and have said this so many times before but the liberal democrats will not hear it, at all.
We are all Americans and should support our country.
Stop splitting hairs and come together for the betterment of all of us.
The truth, thats in our faces, is that the liberal party refuses to give in on any issue, period.
Its got to be there way or no way.
They're hardliner attitude helps no one and nothing.
And they look and sound un American in the things they do and say, in front of the world.
They need to remember they live in the greatest country in the world, not perfect, because nothing is perfect except GOD.
But we are free and thats so much more than any other country.
The left acts and speaks like a spoiled rotten brat child.

The Dragon makes mistakes, (if it's not just because you stupid) ------------- and yeah, I yell at the people at bus stops because all the noncontributing unproductive lowlifes that take the bus because they can't afford a car are ruining the country voting Democrat so they can get more entitlements. (LBJ did say that he would "have those Niggers voting Democrat for the next 200 years")
