Comey requested a private meeting with president-elect Trump which Trump granted. In that meeting Comey told Trump he had unverified information that the Russians had taped evidence that Trump engaged prostitutes in a Moscow hotel. In disbelief, Trump asked for proof. Comey said they didn't have it and that the FBI had no reason to investigate him personally. This was a power play by a political hack. Comey was trying to set Trump up. Trump didn't fall for it.
During his Lame Stream TV interview with the little Clinton weasel, Stephanopoulos, Comey went metaphysical, he described his reaction to Trump's refusal to believe the bullshit, said he had an out-of-body experience, like he was floating above his body completely detached from reality. It gets worse, but enough is enough. I knew that sleazebag was really weird, but wow, this astral projection stuff is right out of the Twilight Zone.
The FBI director is supposed remain neutral and unbiased in the discharge of his duties and to remain loyal to the president AND to the American people. What kind of FBI director has a private (confidential) meeting with the president, presents classified yet unverified information to him, then writes a book about it?
Comey is a joker, he's a smoker, he's a midnight toker, he gets his jollies on the run. Freakin' space cowboy.
The treasonous bastard should be in an institution, one without windows, with bars in the door, and no key.

Let's not forget that Trump admitted to Russian Ambasador and to Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs, in the Oval Office, that he had to fire Comey for not laying off the Russian probe. He can spin it now all he wants, but that esa the primary reason. Comey's refusal to lay off led to his firing, which in turn, led to the hiring of Mueller to pick up from Comey left off.

Trump tweeted that He (Trump) fired Comey. He said it on TV. Regardless of the actual (hairsplitting) mechanism deployed, Trump got rid of Comey. If Trump shot Comey with a Glock 17 would you argue that it was the gun that shot Comey, not the man who pulled the trigger?
