No, I've been fishing all of my life and I know what it was. I've fished fresh and salt water. I even had the record strip Bass 72 lbs on 12lb. test. Caught her in the 96st.sewer outlet.in The Hudson River.in NYC It was mating season she was going up the river to lay her eggs. That was the best part of her, that roe. It took me 20min. Of fighting, she ran 6 times on me till she finally tired out. You should have seen me walking up the West side hyway with her over my shoulder. Everybody honking their Horn's. I Heald that record for 3yrs. Never forget that day!
