Seriously, what is your system doing, not doing? If you want, I will try to walk you through the fixes. I am pretty good with doing step by step for system issues. And, I would be more than glad to give it a try.

One thing is certain about mr. dunn. Sooner or later, he will be out of solitary and in gen pop.
There he will meet some interesting residents, named Jamal, Malik, Tyrone, Santiago, Gomez, as well as Bubba, Ray Bob and Fritz.
He will be 'friended' by some of these gentlemen, and prison etiquette, and welcomed with open arms.

It is VERY likely that dunn will be schooled in music appreciation, especially what Hip-Hop can do for the heart rate when working out strenuously.

Hopefully, mr. dunn will have years to learn to enjoy loud music, and also how to politely ask to have the music turned down.

Bo,

He will never be in the general population. Sorry that may have disappointed not only you but others. And he will not be in a cell in Florida. He will be "farmed out" to another facility where he will not come in contact with any of the "friends" of the man that was killed. Most probably back in his own state. And, more sad news, he will never spend more than 2 years in jail, if he spends that much time. The vast majority of his time will be in a medical facility where he will be under constant supervision.

Whereas the laws in Florida need to be changed, there is nothing in the near future to visit the stand your ground laws.

Dunn is going to prison as punishment not for punishment. He was wrong and murdered a mouthy teenager. He probly thought he had no worrys since every one knows only gangsters listen to loud rap music ,that is if you are WHITE and over 40quote=ginnyt]Bo,

Fom,

Not once have I defended Mr. Dunn. I have repeated several times that in my opinion he was wrong. But, it does not change the fact that the jurors did not find that they could convict him for murder. They convicted him on what they could agree upon. The variables, such as what would a reasonable person do was a big consideration. Did he fear for his life. That is, did he think he heard someone threaten to kill him. The question is, did the person have the means to which to carry out the threat. In the mind of the accused, the answer was he believed that he saw a gun. So, the response to that question is the defendant was threatened and he was in fear for his life and there was a weapon. In the heat of the moment, with the information I just provided the next question, what would a reasonable person do. Could he outrun a gunshot? Could he have physically subdued the aggressors? Minus these options, what remained? He had a gun, it was loaded. In hindsight, he should not have gone to that store, he should not have asked the noise to be turned down, and he should have gone to a tanning booth before he left his home state.

My point is, if you are in a tense situation, and you are afraid you only have two options..... run like hell or try to take the other person/thing out. Your brain does not go through the what if situations. It goes on auto pilot and you react. That is the average person. For some people, they train (such as police and our military) not to react. My second point, this would not be a point of discussion had the roles been reversed. It would only be on the news for one time and it would be called an "accidental" shooting. But, the issue arises because the old guy was white. And should anyone create a topic on it, many would say that it is a myth and did not happen. No such thing as a black man killing a white and if they did so it was in self defense and because white man has kept him enslaved and he had no opportunities. Don't think so? Read this thread from start to finish.

Dunn Had no reason to bother the teenagers about their music as they were all at a convienience store soon to be leaving and going about life.He had to start something because he felt superior. His assertion that he saw a gun is no more the truth than George Zimmerman saying he feared for his life. Dunn got what he deserved. A young boy will never see his potential get married have kids because of an arrogant bully who thought he could kill a "THUG" and be exonerated.

Well, I respect your opinion. And in the light, I do hope that you respect my right to see this in a legal sense and not from a visceral reaction. BTW, the Zimmerman/Martin case is over. Just as this one, unless on his retrial a different verdict is rendered. To be honest, I am somewhat amazed that he was not taken directly from the courthouse to lethal injection. Perhaps that is the justice that many had wanted. Perhaps this would be the solution, any white person who shoots, regardless of reason, should be automatically executed..... would that then be your brand of justice?

Really? Read what you wrote. You do not know this man, you were not at his trial, but still you go into calling him in no uncertain words the scum of the earth. Saying he had a superiority complex.... You scream and yell about the injustice to the other person, how he had a right to be disrespectful, he had a right to his loud music, all his rights....not once did you stop and say, HEY THERE ARE TWO SIDES to every situation. No, your brand of justice is one sided. Your brand of justice is reactionary. Your brand of justice is a lynch mob mentality. If the accused is white then the accused is guilty. That is the justice of America now!

You are an idiot. Read the post, you moron. I said that about 70% of black children were born out of wedlock, one parent homes. The NBC News link I supplied, that you claimed I did not, is the one that has the 72% figure. I said that I COULD HAVE obtained similar figures from Fox, but you wouldn't have believed those, which is why I used the ones from NBC. I supplied the link. Any credibility issues you think you have should be addressed to the National Broadcasting Corporation. Their figures. My quote was a very close approximation. You are either being deliberately obtuse, or you are an imbecile. I do not believe you to be an imbecile, therefore your circular logic and denial must be an affectation.

I agree there is idiot here and guess who it is? You used the NBC as a link so I assumed that you basically agreed and knew what you talking about. I was wrong it's apparent you don't! You was right about one thing. I don't trust FOX! The NBC statistics are suspect too but that is another story. In the future if you cannot honestly stand behind the your links refrain from posting them. It makes you appear to be a disingenuous moron.

Accept my apologies I didn't realize that facts and truth offended you! Since you are content with you dubious and highly suspect narratives I have no objections. I'm sorry I cannot be a member of your "irrational club!"

Actually, I am a very unemotional individual. I do not care about you, whether you live or die, if you are hungry, angry, tired, impressed, unimpressed, smart, dumb, or what you may think about me.

By dubious and suspect, that means anyone who dares to disagree with you in any particular on anything? US News and World Report is wrong, NBC News is wrong, I could have included the statistics from the US Bureau of Statistics, but why bother? They are wrong, too, because they have the temerity to contradict your biases. You have offered no facts or truth, you have merely dismissed source after source proving you wrong as being suspect.
