I'm glad you liked your walls. I'm going to make Duckies space for when she's able to come back to us. I don't think our Asylum Director will mind. She liked duckie a bunch.

That is kind, thank you~! The suspension will only last until she can pass a test. The test is several different scenarios that could be seen in multiple ways, and reactions could go from far left to far right. What she has to do is figure out which response is the most appropriate and the most important part, is she has to know why it is appropriate. The why is most important. She is only 16 (just turned in December), her past solutions have been pure reaction. Now we are trying to teach her to look at every angle, to take her emotions out of the equation, to weigh the importance of other people's feeling and then to formulate a response that will accomplish the need to participate and be heard while allowing the responder their dignity. We do not always need to agree and being assertive is okay as long as you are not combative.

I am an old woman, having a child at my age is tough work. So, please accept my sincere appreciation for your thoughtfulness. You are indeed a caring individual!

Our friend, Lpnmajor, created this forum attempting to use his humor. He has created several we all found great fun. In this instance, offense was taken by some of us. He has, in his usual kind way, apologized to those of us who were offended. He truly meant no harm. I am holding no ill will toward him.

Nor do I. It was a simple inability to appreciate the humor on my part. I am working on it. My assignment from Mike is to sit with him every night and listen and tell jokes until I understand and can appreciate them...........I am trying, but humor and 1 and zeros have nothing in common. So, pray for me. And please have a bottle of aspirin in my cell for the headache I will get from my lessons!

Totally off topic. Tell her to beware of the words bear/bare. My cousin does some approved private consulting. A company building their new website asked individuals to "bare" with them. It falls with there/their; sense/since/cents; it's/it's; your/you're; to/too/two and those other pesky little things spell check may not detect.

I will try to obtain a extra strength medication, as well as face cream to erase the wrinkles from your "false smile" utilized as you go through your lessons with Michael.

I may have one to provide a "real" smile. Someone sent me a email with signs. One said, "This store guarded after midnight with a shotgun three nights a week. You can guess which three nights!" Amaze him with your own joke. I will add to my duties finding amusements for you to throw back at Michael.

We got great news today. Court was 10 minutes....she is now ours. Adoption papers in hand! She is so happy, she has not stopped giggling. I think she is relieved, I know that we are happy. She now wants to change her name. I am okay with it, but I think she needs to think about that before she jumps. It is unknown if she wants my last name or Mike's.... she is so funny. We are going out tonight to celebrate!

Being a great person and her Aunt, sorry but you will need to address those pesky things because I often mess them up!

I read major's name play with God and wasn't offended at all. I didn't read anything that slandered, put him down, or twisted scripture.
I have trivia books on the Bible that I read and write answers to silly questions, and it's all in above the belt clean fun. I really like the way major's mind can work that way with words.

This is how I get in heart when someone downright blasphemes our Lord God in a filthy way; tell me if you do to:

This is absolutely great news for all, especially Duckie! I am so proud for and pleased for your Family. This decision will allow life to proceed without delay or worry. Let the young lady know how happy I am/we all are for the new life she now has before her.

CELEBRATE! Dance, sing, laugh, and LOVE!

If you are implying that you were in attendance, then GREAT! Celebratory events always involve good friends. At least, those good friends who are available to attend. :| :hunf:

Regale me with pictures!

You should consider 'banquet' or 'gluttony' two of my bigger vocabulary words, AuntiE.

'Buffet' is good, too!
