You have been told that the names you called out as associates of LJ probably don't have any respect for you. People see different things in Art and just because it differs from yours does not negate their opinion at all.. That’s the beauty of Art, we all have a different read or feeling when seeing it...

This particular paint over in the thread is painfully distasteful and crude.. Nothing pleasant about it or either..

The notion that a painting means whatever you think it means was called Deconstructionism. It was intellectually lazy and discreditable.
The painting in question is based on a Bible (Apocrypha) story. Masters such as Tintoretto and Gentileschi have painted it.
