Two things this tale of woe presented:
1) This statement: "The dried pellets fed to farmed fish are not regulated and are full of dangerous toxins because what the fish eats ends up in you."
Get that? "..full of dangerous toxins because what the fish eats ends up in you.."-- does that make any sense whatever? What 'dangerous toxins'.. ?
2) The oceans are being over- harvested as it is now.. I used to fish cod off Montauk and it was common to hook large fish- lots of them.. huge cod. Now all that one sometimes catches are much smaller and the harvest is much smaller.
All of the historically fish rich banks are becoming depleted by over-fishing using hugely successful modern trawlers and processing vessels from almost every nation.
So, if we are to all eat the recommended amount of fish, where are they to come from? Where?
BTW, this 'Warning' brought to mind the "butter will kill you" and "Alar will kill you" hysteria of the past.

I live in the Mo. Ozarks. Have guided over 30 yrs. Catfish, fished Pro for 15 yrs. And still fish abt. Everyday. Love my catfish, and they taste better when they're free and you have the enjoyment I'm sitting down with your can of worms I'm catching them. Or as I do the boat.

We were taught water purifies itself in a stream or river every 20 feet through rocks and sand. Lakes also have undercurrents from rivers streams springs suppliers.

And I'm still as pissed off as Strzdck's wife over the sunnavabitch who's little heart was broken over the treatments of veal calves. Now it's ridiculously over priced and I won't buy it anymore. Same with organic, or local, or gluten free, or fat free, or non GMO. All bullmueller trying to get you to eat the way the lefties want you to eat. I won't buy any of that pelosi. Farm raised fish tastes better than wild caught, especially if you are far from the source of the fish. Farm raised fish is processed for travel and quality. Read this whole thread, another waste of time. When we were in South Korea in 1988. We had wooden shitters. Most had 4 holes, some 6. So you were sitting right beside someone else taking a dump. The shitters were off the ground with washtubs under the holes. South Korean farmers would pull the washtubs out, load the shit on their carts, take it to their farms, use it as fertilizer on their rice patties. So, the next time you eat rice, think about that.
