When visiting another state you are subject to the laws of that state. If someone buys marijuana in Colorado and crosses the border into Wyoming they are subject to arrest. The same is true of someone bringing a trunk load of cigarettes from Virginia into New York. States clearly have the right to ban carrying concealed firearms. People who ignore the ban are felons, and if you decide to do so remember if you are convicted of a felony you loose your right to possess firearms anywhere in the nation forever.
