Honey, your argument sounds so sweet and caring, but it's actually remarkably ignorant and out of touch. Some of what you list in your comments, for example, standing with the elderly, etc., is what we as human beings, as Americans, as family and, yes, (oops, might get in trouble for this one), as brothers and sisters within a congregation of believers in Christ, automatically, out of love, do. The rest, well, they're just your standard Democrat talking points. You're so blinded by your hate for Trump that you cannot (more accurately, will not) see the good he is accomplishing for our beloved America.

lynetteburkeky: Great Post! Liberals keep tripping over the truth. Until we get the government out of our homes; shrink it down, and limit them to the basic defense needs of the Country; our problems will only multiply! The nurturing and bonding effects, of the Family; fellowship with our fellow Americans, and drifting back to the moral principles of our Founding Fathers is the only true course for this Country! Collectively, as a society, our actions now tend to prove that we value style over substance, celebrity over principal, and victimization over self-reliance. We must ask our fellow Americans in the name Christ to move away from Sodom & Gomorrah! The use of the Tort system to dismantle our Bill of Rights has enhanced this assault on our founding principles! I now vote with my pocketbook as well and try to limit my exposure to the "Brain sucking CRT" in the Home!

Two great posts above. You hit the nail on the head.

Protecting the environment, achieving renewable energy independence, protecting minority rights and women’s rights, standing with working families and the elderly, consumer protection and strengthening public education are all progressive policies in the interest of the American people that Trump is attacking and lying about. If you support Trump and his fascist regressive policies, it is you who are un American.

words are easy to utter. How about examples of success with those ideas. You can see the results of Trump. Just to show my nonpartisan we have failed to take corrective action on immigration for last 30 years!!

I have this figured out. Please write your democratic rep. and ask for the forms to declare yourself as an illegal immigrant. Then the democrats would represent you. Instead of $1200 social security check, you would qualify for the $3850 we give illegals. We could follow Summer's recommendation "If we prevent illegals from voting you are racist!" WHAT ARE WE WAITING FOR?? LET THE GOOD TIMES ROĹL!!!

Eight years of Obama, I'm pretty sure the right hated Obama, he never got credit for anything, Lol. And more to the point there is no number or statistic that shows Trump records are anything but things going in the exact same way they were going when he took office. The stock market was already in ever climbing record territory, unemployment was at a low, jobs growth had been positive for a record number of consecutive months that is his whole two terms short of the first month or two.

Obama inherited record deficits ($1.3 Trillion), record unemployment (11%), a tanked stock market (americans had lost at least $14 Trillion), record foreclosures and home values in the gutter. The administration had lost somewhere around 25 million jobs, in fact the last month of Bush's administration another 700,000 were lost.

Trump can't really do anything that does anything but keep what was happening keeping on. The rhetoric during the election, and it is my hope that people who support Trump can understand the error of this reality, is that policies that were already improving jobs, the stock market, home values, all the things that matter to the economy, are harder to maintain than just keep going.

You can't come in making dramatic changes that improve what is already doing well without risking the opposite reaction. You let your uninformed treasury guy raise interest rates in the belief that things are so strong that the economy can withstand increases you better be aware that it can trigger a whirlpool that affects the whole economy. Higher interest rates on loans do what? They change the amount people can borrow, this makes home prices drop because the people who were buying them can no longer afford them. Businesses start increasing prices to reflect increased costs of their financing.
Stock prices start coming down, which can trigger an exodus with a market already very nervous about record prices, record stock prices are prone to adjustments. 2007/2008 was an adjustment that tanked the market and caused a lot of working class people to lose their retirement funds. Gas prices go up as oil prices go down, people curb their driving everywhere they can, which causes gas prices to go up more. Businesses that rely on gas such as airlines and trucking companies are forced to raise prices to pay for gasoline. Restaurants go out of business because people paying more for gas don't eat out as much. My wife's veterinary business was hit by 40% when gas was at it's highest during the Bush admin.

Trump and his administration are blundering around in an incredibly sensitive economy that was doing incredibly well considering where it was when Obama took office. They are making senseless greed based policy moves that do nothing but increase the deficit and debt, that will at the very least cost taxpayers trillions, and at the worst will trigger massive upheavals in the stock market and economy.

I show quotes that are worth repeating, in case that people like you did not get it the first time!

Some times it is to provide the context of my response, so others can follow.

Please clarify what it is you feel that I didn't "have a clue"

These are the two quotes I thought were worth repeating for others to reflect on:

"Honey, your argument sounds so sweet and caring, but it's actually remarkably ignorant and out of touch. Some of what you list in your comments, for example, standing with the elderly, etc., is what we as human beings, as Americans, as family and, yes, (oops, might get in trouble for this one), as brothers and sisters within a congregation of believers in Christ, automatically, out of love, do. To call Democrats "Democrats" is nowadays an error. It is a blend of Socialist and Conmunist ideology. There is absolutely nothing democratic about them. Their goal is to trash our constitution and implement a socialist government. Im all in on putting the DNC out of business permanently.

You are sadly very deceived. Socialist agenda which you listed is un American and unconstitutional. I dont pay taxes to allow you to enjoy your lifestyle. I pay taxes to pay the people who bear arms to protect me from bad eggs who would enslave and abuse me. We cant do a god damn thing about the environment unless we stop all the cars and factorys. Every major volcanic eruption pours millions of tons of greenhouse gases into the air. You gonna stand over one of them and tell it to stop diung that? Go to work

Donald Trump is not a facist. He might well be screaming and hollering like the real facist- Adolf Hitler. But he isnt screaming about conquering the world and making everybody bow to a facist regime is he? He hasnt declared war on the world has he? North Korea is an inheritance from previous admin failures. Its his problem now. iIf he sends the Gestapo to your door, drags you out of your house and rapes your daughters you can call him a facist. I dont think he's that type.
